𝘾𝙔 2026 1𝙨𝙩 𝙎𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙮 || Last March 20, 2026, Barangay Poblacion Kabayan Benguet held their First Semester Barangay Assembly at the Brgy. Hall, Palenas, Poblacion, Kabayan.

The SK Officials of SK Poblacion, Kabayan actively participated throughout the assembly. Present were SK Chairperson Tugay-an and SK Kagawad Pesey.

Furthermore, SK Chairperson, Rolly Chard P. Tugay-an reported the SK Situation and Ways Forward for the Katipunan ng Kabataan within the barangay. Highlights, were the goal of disbursing the SK Funds before the end of the year and focusing on the Legislative to propose Ordinance/s in the barangay as one of the possible long term initiatives of the SK.

The assembly ended with a great conclusion focusing on providing solutions to the concern raised during the open forum discussion.

𝙆𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙄𝙎𝘼𝙉 𝙎𝘼 𝘽𝘼𝙂𝙊𝙉𝙂 𝙋𝙄𝙇𝙄𝙋𝙄𝙉𝘼𝙎 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙂𝙍𝘼𝙈 || Today, March 14, 2026 at Barangay Poblacion Kabayan Benguet, pursuant to the DILG Memorandum Circular 2024 - 059, BLGU Poblacion conduct its Kalinisan sa Bagong Pilipinas Program.

Encouraging all the constituents of our Barangay thru the initiatives of everyone to maintain the cleanliness of our areas.

The said activity was led and represented by SKC Rolly Chard Tugay-an, SKK Denise L Psy (Levy Denise H. Pesey) and Hon. Agustina Dagdag, Brgy. Kagawad.

Joining for today's schedule are 4P's led by Ms. Estrilitah Mongen Albin and Cot-Cot - Tinodan Young People's Organization led by President, Mr. Brixton Jay G Pacday.

𝙏𝙃𝙀 1𝙨𝙩 𝘾𝙏𝙔𝙋𝙊 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙮 (2026) || Last February 28, 2026, Through the initiatives of the SK Chairperson of Brgy. Poblacion, Kabayan, Sir Rolly Chard Tugay-an gathered the young people of Sitios Cot-Cot & Tinodan for their 1st Assembly as an Organization at Sir Marwin Cabading's Residence.

This activity aims to strengthen the Active Citizenship of the Young People of the said sitios as partners and frontliners in any activities of the community. Through this, the organization looks forward to encouraging more young people in actively participating activities, self development and such.

With the Theme: "Active Citizenship: Youth Leading, Communities Thriving" , the Young People of CTYPO were inspired by the testimonies of the guests, Ma'am Venus N. Belao & Sir Vishal Kane - Tebeng #1.

Hon. Agustina Dagdag were also present in full support to the said activity together with the MPS guiding and protecting.

𝘼𝘼𝙉𝘼𝙆 𝙣𝙞 𝙆𝘾𝙄𝙎 || Last December 9, 2025, the social work practitioner from the Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC), Ma'am Maise Faith Atin-an initiated a Youth Training for Citizen Leadership with the theme: IGNITE, LEAD, ACT for the Supreme Secondary Learners' Government (SSLG) of Kabayan Central Integrated School.

Highlights of the activity were the inspiring words from the guest speaker, Sir Dennis Guinuiguin, Student Organizations & Leadership Coordinator of CCDC. He emphasized that every leader starts small, and that a genuine desire to serve forms the starting point of meaningful leadership.

Furthermore, a message from SK Chairperson of Brgy. Poblacion, Mr. Rolly Chard P. Tugay-an emphasizes that these trainings provide a solid foundation for developing leadership skills and effectiveness. Serving a crucial starting point for anyone looking to enhance their leadership capabilities.

The SK Officials of Brgy. Poblacion extends our appreciation to Ma'am Atin-an for choosing our barangay in implementing such helpful activities and to our partners, Ma'am Jenneth Bastian, School Principal and Ma'am Shirley B. Madiano, SSLG Adviser.

UPDATED CALENDAR OF ACTIVITIES | 125th Foundating Anniversary and 4th Kiling Festival

Please be informed that other activities of the Kiling Festival have been rescheduled following the aftermath of Super Typhoon UWAN. This decision was made to prioritize the safety of residents and to allow the Barangay and its constituents adequate time to focus on recovery efforts, infrastructure rehabilitation, and restoration of affected areas.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we navigate this period of rebuilding. The revised schedule of events will ensure our festival celebrations align with the community’s recovery progress while maintaining the spirit of unity and resilience.

Attached below is the updated calendar of activities.

Thank you for your unwavering cooperation. Together, we look forward to overcoming this challenge and celebrating the Kiling Festival with renewed vigor.
