Look: ODA Beneficiaries Undergo PSA CBMS Reassessment for Walang Gutom Program

On May 18, 2026, the first batch of ODA beneficiaries underwent a special reassessment through the Philippine Statistics Authority Community-Based Monitoring System from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM as part of the requirements for the Walang Gutom Program.

The activity was facilitated by the PSA CBMS focal persons together with the PSA CBMS Biliran team and the Biliran Chief Statistical Officer, with a target of assessing 65 beneficiaries.

During the reassessment, beneficiaries were evaluated using the Walang Gutom Assessment Indicator Tool to determine their eligibility for inclusion in the official Walang Gutom Program roster. Those who will be successfully assessed and included in the roster may have the opportunity to join the upcoming food redemption activities.

At present, ODA beneficiaries remain on hold as they still need to be cross-matched through the PSA CBMS, following the updated guidelines of the Walang Gutom Program. In line with Republic Act No. 11315, the PSA CBMS now serves as the main basis in identifying potential beneficiaries, making the reassessment an important step in the process.
