Dilg Naval participated in the harmonization of Data of Persons Who Use Drugs (PWUDs) Surrederers in the Municipality of Naval.

The Technical Working Group also discussed the accreditation of Balay Silangan to rehabilitate drug pushers, and the Community Based Drug Rehabilitation Program.

The meeting was attended by PDEA and PNP Personnel.

Foreign nationals residing in the Philippines are prohibited by law from engaging in any partisan political activities in the country.

The key points are:
1. Foreign nationals, including those with permanent residency visas, are barred from participating in political protests, rallies, campaigns, or other partisan political activities.
Violating this prohibition can result in deportation and being blacklisted from re-entering the Philippines.

2. The Bureau of Immigration has zero tolerance for foreigners "meddling in the internal affairs" of the Philippines and will deport and ban those found guilty of such acts, especially electioneering.

3. Even foreign nationals protesting in support of the government would be subject to the same immigration order prohibiting political participation.

So in summary, foreign nationals in the Philippines are strictly prohibited from engaging in any partisan political activities, regardless of their views or the nature of the political event. Doing so can lead to serious immigration consequences.

This week, Dilg Naval joins the nation in observing the 2024 Girl Child Week, in accordance with Presidential Proclamation No. 759, issued in 1996. This proclamation designates the fourth week of March as a time to focus on the "Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child." This annual event serves as a reminder to promote awareness and advocate for equal opportunities and the protection of girls' rights throughout the Philippines.

This year's theme, "Abante, Batang Babae: Labanan ang Karahasan!" emphasizes our commitment to combating violence against girls and creating an environment where they can thrive without fear, with equal opportunities to reach their full potential.

It calls upon all sectors of society to intensify efforts in building a safer, more inclusive, and fair world for every girl child. Let us all play our part in this noble endeavor, ensuring a future for every girl that is bright, secure, and full of boundless opportunities.

Matino, MAHUSAY, at Maasahan

LGU Naval was conferred the GAWAD MAHUSAY AWARD by the Deparment of Social Welfare and Development.

LGU Naval is the only municipality in the Province that has been given this award.

Gawad Mahusay Award is given to best performing Municipal Social Welfare and Development Offices that meet the stadards set by DSWD.

Mayor G Stephanie Espina said that GAWAD MAHUSAY AWARD is only the 1st major award for 2024, and that she expects more for Naval in the coming months.

She also challenged all the employees to work hard and give the best for Naval.

The Liga ng mga Barangay Naval Chapter has successfully conducted its chapter election today, December 15, 2023 with re-elected President Jefffey Merez winning his 2nd term as Municipal Liga ng mga Barangay President.

The MLGOO of Dilg Naval was invited to give a lecture of Katarungang Pambarangay (KP) to the Punong Barangays, Brgy. Secretaries and Lupon Members of the 13 barangays of Almeria on October 4, 2023.

The discussion was a refresher course to the KP implementers. The lecture focused on The Jurisdictional and Procedural Aspect of KP, Cases Covered by the Katarungang Pambarangay, and Ex*****on of Amicable Settlement.
