Empowering the youth through opportunity! 💼✨

The Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) Orientation was successfully conducted on May 5, 2026, through the initiative of the DOLE Biliran Field Office, in collaboration with our very own Municipal Mayor Joseph Canonoy Caingcoy and PESO Manager-Designate Ms. Diane Rose Agumbay of the Local Government Unit of Maripipi.

The activity brought together our young beneficiaries as they take their first step toward meaningful work experience and personal growth. This program aims to equip students with valuable skills, instill responsibility, and provide financial support for their education.

A total of 100 beneficiaries joined the TUPAD Contract Signing held today, March 26,2026 at Municipal Annex Hall.

Conducted by the Department of Labor and Employment in coordination with Municipal Mayor Joseph Canonoy Caingcoy and LGU Maripipi PESO Office. This initiative opens doors to temporary employment and much-needed support for the people of Maripipi.

Together, we continue to build a stronger and more resilient community.

The Local Government Unit Maripipi is in need of 10 Senior High school students for the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) for the upcoming summer period. Interested and qualified students who wish to avail of temporary employment and gain valuable work experience are encouraged to apply. This program aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students while helping them develop skills in public service. For more information, please visit the PESO office of LGU.
