PNP GOOD DEEDS: "LIBRENG SAKAY"

At about 8:09 AM today June 5, 2026, PNP Personnel of Bindoy MPS under the leadership of PMAJ GEREON A. ITEM, COP, duly conducted the “Libreng Sakay” Program from Brgy. Tagaytay to Brgy. Poblacion, Bindoy, Negros Oriental. The activity aimed to assist commuters and residents with their transportation needs while further strengthening police-community relations through responsive service, compassion, and goodwill.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT & INFORMATION DRIVE

At about 1:18 PM today June 5, 2026, PNP personnel of Bindoy MPS, under the direct supervision of PMAJ GEREON A. ITEM, COP, conducted an anti-criminality information drive to the habal-habal driver at Brgy. Poblacion in this municipality. The activity aimed to enhance crime prevention awareness and promote vigilance among the community. It included a focused lecture on anti-criminality, anti-illegal drugs, workplace bullying prevention, anti-terrorism awareness, and typhoon safety and preparedness, highlighting practical security measures and proper reporting procedures using the 911 emergency hotline number. Informational materials were distributed to support the discussion. Overall, the initiative strengthened coordination between the business sector and law enforcement, fostering a safer and more secure environment for business operations and public safety.

Today June 5, 2026, at 8:03 a.m., the Bindoy Municipal Police Station staff, under the supervision of Chief of Police PMAJ GEREON A. ITEM, conducted a mobile patrol in the area of Brgy. Poblacion to Brgy. Tagaytay. When assistance is needed, individuals can easily approach the mobile patrollers because they are highly visible in the neighborhood.
