DOLE TUPAD beneficiaries, through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of the City Government of Bislig, joined DepEd's Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Mangagoy Central Elementary School, Mangagoy Hilltop Elementary School, Caramcam Elementary School, and Tabon Maximino Estrella National High School.

This initiative reflects our continued commitment to supporting the education sector through community participation and the spirit of bayanihan in creating a safe and conducive learning environment for all learners.

The Local Government Unit of Bislig City, under the leadership of Mayor Florencio C. Garay, in collaboration with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Caraga, successfully awarded livelihood and financial assistance to two (2) distressed and displaced Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) through the Balik Pinas, Balik Hanapbuhay Program.
The awarding activity was attended by Ms. Laine S. Elechicon, PESO Manager, and Mr. Ajhay C. Bandola, OWWA Family Welfare Officer.
The LGU of Bislig City expresses its sincere gratitude to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration for its continued commitment to the welfare, recovery, and empowerment of Filipino workers and their families by providing sustainable livelihood opportunities to returning and displaced OFWs, helping them strengthen their income-generating activities as part of transition program to reintegrate back to community.
