SAN MIGUEL INTER-TOWN HIP-HOP DANCE COMPETITION 2026

Mechanics and Guidelines:
1. The competition is open to all dance crews or groups in the entire Province of Bohol representing their respective town addresses.
2. Maximum of ten (10) groups will be accepted. First come to reserve and commit a slot, and submit hard copy of membersโ parental consent/waiver attached with front and back photocopy of oneโs government issued ID first served basis. Contact person, EJ Fernandez, 09073869447.
3. Each group shall be composed of a minimum of five (5) dancers and a maximum of eighteen (18) dancers.
4. Group maybe composed of all male, all female, or mix.
5. All background music must be on their respective CDs or flash drives with no other files being saved in mp3 format.
6. Remix music/songs is acceptable.
7. The performance must be at least three (3) minutes and a maximum of five (5)minutes. Two (2) points shall be deducted in the overall rating whenever the team or entry falls short the required minimum time, reach the time 3:00and/or for every minute after fige (5)minutes. The countdown of time of the performance starts with the first note of the music or the first dance movement, whichever comes first.
8. Costume must be appropriate to the concept of the dance. Nudity is strictly prohibited.
9. Aerial acrobatics, backflips, and front flips are allowed but with signing off waiver.
10. No dancer/s may appear more than once in any other competition groups.
11. Participation in the event is entirely at the dancerโs own risk. Performance of dangerous choreography is not endorsed by the competition committee for any liabilities.
12. All groups will be assigned with numbers of competition through draw by lots.
13. The judges, in their sole and absolute discretions, will give a percentage score to each submission based on the following criteria:

14. Prizes are the following:
Grand Champion/1st prize winner will receive โฑ8,000 pesos,
2nd Prize winner will receive โฑ6,000 pesos,
3rd Prize winner will receive โฑ4,000 pesos ,
and Consolation Prizes -โฑ2,000 pesos.
15. The committee reserves the right to amend these guidelines or refuse any entry or group with proper advice to the parties concerned.
16. Failure to comply with any of the foregoing mechanics and guidelines will result to disqualification.
17. The judgesโ decision is final and irrevocable.
