Community Engagement thru a Lecture
September 30, 2025 at 9AM
PMSg Jemima J. Bantilan, WCPD PNCO of Bilar MPS under the supervision of PLT ADRIEL JOHN IGANA FRANCISCO, Chief of Police conducted a comprehensive lecture on key legal frameworks and pressing issues affecting our society today.
Topics are: RA 8353- The Anti-R**e Law of 1997, highlighting the importance of consent, protection of victims, and the evolving understanding of sexual violence. RA 9344- The Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act of 2006, which promotes restorative justice and emphasizes rehabilitation over punishment for our youth in conflict with the law. The dangers and societal impacts of illegal drugs, and the collective responsibility of communities in prevention, awareness, and support for rehabilitation. The threat of terrorism, and legal, moral, and civic duties we must uphold to preserve peace, democracy, and the safety of every Filipino.
These are not just laws- they are living instruments of justice, protection, and reform. As citizens, educators, and leaders, we must champion awareness and empower others with knowledge.

That on April 07, 2025, PNP Personnel of Bilar Municipal Police Station under the direct supervision of PCPT PONCIANO M ENTROLISO JR, Officer In-Charge, conducted dialogue DRUG SYMPOSIUM R.A 9165 | R. A 11313 Bawal Bastos Law
R.A 8353 | Anti R**e Law to the Students of Bilar National High School, Yanaya, Bilar, Bohol. The primary objective of this program addresses a range goal to promote Drug Awareness Prevention Campaign in order to help the community to be knowledgeable on the negative social consequences of drug use.
Through the continuous engagement and guidance by preventing and encouraging the youth and the community to avoid using illicit drugs.

BILAR POLICE STATION CONDUCTED BARANGAY VISITATION AND PUBLIC AWARENESS THROUGH INFORMATION DRIVE
On March 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM,PMSg Jemima J Bantilan, WCPD PNCO and PSSg Marga Hyacinth A Quinal, Asst WCPD of Bilar Police Station, under the leadership of PCPT PONCIANO M. ENTROLISO JR., Chief of Police, conducted barangay visitation and information drive through dialogue/lecture to the Women’s Association of Villa Aurora, Bilar, Bohol.
This activity is intended to educate the residents of said barangay on crime prevention, public security and important reminders especially in preparation for the upcoming National and Local Elections 2025. Also encourage the cooperation of the residents thru crime reporting.
Important topics were discussed such as the following:

RA 11313 (Safe Spaces Act) – Protection Against Harassment
RA 9262- Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004
RA 7610 – Protection of Children Against Abuse
Crime Prevention
Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign

On February 26, 2025 at 02:00 PM, Bilar PS personnel under the supervision of PCPT PONCIANO M ENTROLISO JR OIC, conducted dialogue and distribution of flyers to the students of Bohol Island State University (BISU)- Bilar Campus regarding Anti-Illegal Drugs, Anti-Terrorism and the reminders and guidelines for the National and Local Elections (NLE) 2025,further encourage the cooperation of the students through crime reporting.

Yanaya, Bilar, Bohol. Likewise distributed flyers thereat.

SYMPOSIUM ON SEXUAL HARASSMENT, SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND BULLYING

Personnel of Bilar MPS under the supervision of PCPT PONCIANO MULA ENTROLISO JR, Chief of Police (OIC) conducted information dissemination thru a symposium to the students of Bohol Island State University- Bilar Campus (First Year to Third Year- all courses) on some salient topics. These topics are Sexual Harassment, Bullying and Substance Abuse which focuses on Illegal Drugs and Alcohol including its negative effects to the individual and the community as a whole.
The purpose of said symposium was to educate the students on those mentioned topics especially on illegal drugs and reminded them not to engage in anything illegal that can affect their studies and maybe destroy their future.

That on November 28, 2024 at 08:00 in the morning and onwards, PMSg Jemima J. Bantilan, WCPD PNCO and PSSg Marga Hyacinth A. Quinal, Asst WCPD of this station under the supervision of PCPT PONCIANO MULA ENTROLISO JR, Chief of Police (OIC) were invited as resource speakers during the conduct of Child Protection Policy Training held at Brgy Roxas Conference Hall, Roxas, Bilar, Bohol conducted by the Office of the Department of Social Welfare and Development attended by the selected elementary pupils (1 every school) of Bilar together with their advisers. Topics discussed were Anti-R**e Law of 1997 (RA 8353), Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act of 2006 (RA 9344) and Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act (RA 7610).

Nahisgutan sa maong panagtapok ang nagkalain-lain nga mga isyu ug kabalaka nga may kalabutan sa kalinaw ug kahapsay sa maong lugar, ingon man usab sa Anti-VAWC, Anti-R**e, iligal nga druga ug terorismo.
