In celebration of the 172nd Bohol Day, there are no classes as the Province of Bohol observes a 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 pursuant to Republic Act No. 7683.

This annual celebration commemorates the rich history, vibrant culture, and enduring heritage of our beloved Province of Bohol.

Let us continue to cherish and preserve the legacy of our province for future generations.

𝗜𝗡 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗢𝗙

𝒮𝒾𝓇 𝐉𝐀𝐘𝐕𝐄𝐄 𝐒. 𝐂𝐔𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐀
𝘑𝘶𝘭𝘺 14, 1989 – 𝘑𝘶𝘯𝘦 13, 2026

It is with profound sadness and heartfelt remembrance that we honor the life and legacy of Sir Jayvee S. Cutanda, a dedicated teacher, students’ coach, colleague, and friend whose untimely passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew him.

Sir Jayvee faithfully served as a Science Teacher at Kinan-oan High School, where he inspired many oanian students through his passion for learning, commitment to excellence, and his steadfast devotion to teaching young people. More than a teacher, he was a guiding light who encouraged young minds to explore, discover, and achieve their fullest potential.

Beyond the classroom, Sir Jayvee was widely respected for his remarkable talent and enthusiasm in the game of chess. As an active coach during athletic meets, he skillfully mentored student-athletes, leading them to success and instilling in them the values of discipline, strategy, perseverance, and sportsmanship. His contributions to the school brought pride and honor to Kinan-oan High School and left a lasting impact on the many students he coached.

While he was active in the service, he served as the Adviser of the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O). His leadership inspired students to become responsible caretakers of nature and active participants in protecting the environment for future generations.

Known for his kindness, humility, and genuine concern for others, Sir Jayvee touched the lives of colleagues, students, friends, and community members alike. His diligence to service, love for education, and commitment to nurturing future generations will forever be remembered and cherished. Though his journey on earth has come to an end, his legacy lives on in the lives he transformed, the lessons he imparted, and the memories he created.

May we find comfort in remembering his life of service, compassion, and excellence.

In preparation for the upcoming school year 2026–2027, we are pleased to invite you to participate in our annual Brigada Eskwela with the theme: “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa Para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman”.

This year's Brigada Eskwela will be held on June 1–5, 2026, and aims to bring together parents, teachers, students, alumni, local government units, civic organizations, and private partners in a shared effort to prepare our school for quality and inclusive education.
