A Continuing Research Ethics Training (CRET), conducted in coordination with Amai Pakpak Medical Center, was held via Zoom on August 19–20, 2026. 📗✨

Facilitated by Dr. Lucila Lupo and Dr. Maria Elinore Co**ha, the two-day training featured lectures, hands-on activities, and engaging discussions on protocol review, as well as the operations and functions of Research Ethics Committees (RECs). 🗂️🖊️

A Basic Research Ethics Training (BRET), in partnership with the Mindanao Medical Foundation College (MMFC), was successfully conducted on July 29–30, 2026, at the MMFC Campus in Davao City. 📝✨

Led by resource speakers Dr. Lucila Lupo and Dr. Milagros Viacrucis, the training covered core ethical principles and national guidelines that protect the rights and welfare of research participants. It also walked participants through the requirements and procedures for applying for Research Ethics Committee (REC) accreditation. 🖊️📒
