PNP ISKOLAR, MATAGUMPAY NA NAGTAPOS SA DARAGA, ALBAY

Naghatid ng inspirasyon ang programang Project F.I.V.E. (Fight Insurgency Via Education) ng Regional Mobile Force Battalion 5 (RMFB 5) matapos opisyal na makapagtapos sa kolehiyo ang isa nitong iskolar noong Mayo 29, 2026 sa Daraga Community College.

Ang naturang iskolar ay nagtapos ng kursong Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd), sa kabila ng mga hamon sa buhay at pinansyal na dinanas habang nag-aaral. Sa pamamagitan ng tiyaga, disiplina, at determinasyon, nakamit niya ang pangarap na makapagtapos ng kolehiyo.

Ayon sa RMFB 5, ang tagumpay ng iskolar ay malinaw na patunay na ang edukasyon ay epektibong sandata laban sa kahirapan at iba’t ibang banta sa kapayapaan, kabilang ang insurhensiya. Layunin ng Project F.I.V.E. na bigyan ng libreng edukasyon at suporta ang mga kabataan mula sa mga komunidad na nangangailangan upang sila ay mahubog bilang produktibong mamamayan.

Pahayag ni PNP Chief PGen Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., “Ang bawat batang natutulungan nating makapagtapos ay isang hakbang palayo sa karahasan at isang hakbang patungo sa mas maayos na kinabukasan. Ito ang tunay na diwa ng serbisyo ng PNP—ang magbigay ng pag-asa.”

Dagdag pa niya, “Hindi lamang ito simpleng programa; ito ay pamumuhunan sa kinabukasan ng ating bayan. Sa bawat iskolar na nagtatagumpay, mas pinatitibay natin ang kapayapaan sa komunidad.”

Ang RMFB 5 ay patuloy na isinusulong ang Project F.I.V.E. bilang bahagi ng mas malawak na adbokasiya para sa kapayapaan at kaunlaran, na nagbibigay ng alternatibong landas sa kabataan tungo sa edukasyon at mas produktibong buhay.

Ang tagumpay na ito ay patunay ng tuloy-tuloy na malasakit at serbisyo ng kapulisan sa komunidad sa ilalim ng Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.

PRO 5 AND CIDG CAMARINES SUR PFU TRACKER TEAM STRENGTHEN PARTNERSHIP, ARREST CIDG RANK 1 MOST WANTED PERSON IN BICOL

A strengthened inter-agency partnership between PRO 5 and the CIDG Camarines Sur Provincial Field Unit (PFU) Tracker Team led to the successful arrest of the CIDG Region 5 Top 1 Most Wanted Person, underscoring the intensified law enforcement campaign against fugitives in the region. The operation, carried out through the service of a warrant of arrest, resulted in the apprehension of a high-profile wanted individual in Naga City on June 2, 2026.

Personnel of PRO 5 and the CIDG Camarines Sur PFU Tracker Team served a warrant of arrest against the Region 5 Top 1 Most Wanted Person of CIDG-RFU 5 at around 7:15 PM on June 2, 2026, in Zone 6, Barangay Balatas, Naga City.

The operation was led by the CIDG Camarines Sur PFU Tracker Team, in close coordination with personnel from Police Station 6, Naga City Police Office.

The arrested suspect, identified by the alias “Ben,” 58 years old, a vendor and resident of Naga City, was apprehended by virtue of warrants of arrest issued by the court for the following offenses: two (2) counts of Arrest for Lascivious Conduct with recommended bail of PhP200,000.00 per count; R**e by Sexual Assault with bail fixed at PhP80,000.00; and Statutory R**e, which carries no bail recommended for temporary liberty.

The arrested individual was informed of the nature of his arrest and was duly apprised of his constitutional rights in a language or dialect known and understood by him. He was thereafter brought to the CIDG Camarines Sur PFU for documentation and proper disposition.

This successful operation forms part of the intensified implementation of the PNP Focused Agenda on Enhanced Managing Police Operations, demonstrating strengthened coordination among law enforcement units in the pursuit of wanted persons and the administration of justice.

Under the leadership of PBGEN EROSITO N MIRANDA, Regional Director, PRO 5, the unit continues to enhance operational effectiveness through sustained inter-agency collaboration, intelligence-driven operations, and focused law enforcement actions aimed at maintaining peace and order in the Bicol Region.

PRO 5 likewise remains steadfast in its commitment to deliver “serbisyong mabilis, tapat, at nararamdaman” to the public.
