Engineering Support Extends To Maluko National High School
On August 04, 2026, Maluko National High School formally requested assistance from the Engineer Support (Kabis-ay) Company, 52nd Engineer Brigade, Philippine Army, for the scraping and leveling of their school oval in preparation for the upcoming Intramurals of Maluko National High School and Maluko Central Elementary School scheduled on August 28–29 2026.
In response to the request, CPT MC COLUMBUS F CATAYLO (CE) PA, Commanding Officer, Engineer Support (Kabis-ay) Company, 52nd Engineer Brigade, Philippine Army, initiated the coordination and identification of available engineering equipment to support the school's requirement.
On August 18, 2026, CPT MC COLUMBUS F CATAYLO (CE) PA approved the provision of engineering support to the school. Subsequently, on August 19, 2026, the Engineer Support (Kabis-ay) Company deployed one (1) Motor Grader, operated by Cpl Rhayan Mark L Aballer (CE) PA, to conduct the requested scraping and leveling of the school oval.
The activity was successfully completed after two (2) days of continuous work, providing Maluko National High School with a more suitable and conducive playing field for the upcoming athletic activities.
This undertaking highlights the commitment of the Engineer Support (Kabis-ay) Company to providing responsive engineering assistance and strengthening partnership with schools and communities within its area of responsibility.
Through its engineering capabilities, the Philippine Army continues to support initiatives that contribute to the safety, development, and welfare of the Filipino youth.
