BALAGTASAN FESTIVAL 2026

Isang matagumpay at makulay na selebrasyon ang naganap sa Bayan ng Balagtas, Bulacan sa ginanap na Balagtasan Festival 2026. Ipinakita sa parada ang pagkakaisa, kultura, at kasiglahan ng bawat mamamayan.

Naging ligtas at maayos ang buong kaganapan sa tulong ng mas pinaigting na seguridad sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Chief of Police ng Balagtas na si PMAJ Mark Anthony Lucas San Pedro.

Kasama rin sa nagbigay suporta ang pwersa ng 304 Headquarters Company sa pamumuno ni 1LT TIMOTEO WILLIAM MANANSALA PA (RES), katuwang ang kanyang First Sergeant na si SSg Alvin Santos PA (Res), at HQ Admin NCO na si SSg Emerson Villanueva PA (Res).

Dahil sa kanilang dedikasyon at pagtutulungan, naging payapa at maayos na nairaos ang buong parada at selebrasyon.

In his message, the CSAFP underscored that the ROTC program remains a vital pillar in developing a generation that understands the true meaning of discipline, patriotism, and service to the nation. Anchored on this year’s theme, “ROTC: Shaping Disciplined Patriots — Stewards of Nation-Building and Pillars of National Security,” he highlighted the enduring role of ROTC in molding young Filipinos into principled leaders and responsible Citizens who are prepared to contribute meaningfully to society.

The CSAFP further noted that patriotism is not confined to ceremonies or symbols, but is demonstrated daily through responsible actions, respect for others, and dedication to the welfare of the country. Through ROTC, the youth are trained to embody these ideals and to become active stewards of nation-building, recognizing that national security is sustained not only by the AFP but also by Citizens grounded in principle and service.
As the nation begins the month-long celebration, the AFP calls on all members of the ROTC community to remember that the uniform represents a lifelong commitment to honor, duty, and country. Together, let us continue empowering the next generation of leaders and building a Ready and Reliable Force—prepared to serve in times of peace and in times of crisis.

MAY UTAK TALANGKA BA SA UNIT NYO?
DELIKADO YAN DAHIL ITO ANG SISIRA SA SAMAHAN NYO!

Ang crab mentality sa isang unit ng Army ay isang negatibong asal kung saan ang isang sundalo o opisyal ay hinihila pababa ang kapwa niya sa halip na suportahan ito—lalo na kapag may nakikitang pag-angat, pagkilala, o oportunidad ang isang kasamahan.

📌 Ano ang ibig sabihin nito sa military setting?

Sa loob ng isang Army unit, maaaring magpakita ang crab mentality sa mga sumusunod na paraan:

1. Paninira ng reputasyon (character assassination)
– Pagkakalat ng tsismis o maling impormasyon para masira ang pangalan ng kasamahan.

2. Inggit sa promotion o award
– Kapag may na-promote o nabigyan ng recognition, imbes na suportahan ay pinupuna at hinahanapan ng mali.

3. Pag-harang sa oportunidad
– Sinisira ang performance report o recommendation ng kasamahan para hindi ito maitalaga sa mas magandang assignment o schooling.

4. Pagmamaliit sa tagumpay ng iba
– Binabale-wala ang accomplishment ng kasamahan at pilit na hinahanapan ng kapintasan.

⚖️ Epekto nito sa Unit

Sa konteksto ng Philippine Army, ang ganitong asal ay:

Nakakasira sa morale at teamwork
Nakakaapekto sa mission accomplishment
Lumalabag sa prinsipyo ng camaraderie at esprit de corps
Maaaring pumasok sa paglabag sa Articles of War, lalo na kung ito ay maging:
Conduct prejudicial to good order and military discipline.

Ano ang tamang asal sa Army?

Sa isang propesyonal na sundalo, ang inaasahan ay:

Mutual respect
Chain of command compliance
Professional competition, hindi personalan
Pag-angat ng buong unit, hindi sarili lang

Sa military, ang tagumpay ng isa ay tagumpay ng lahat. Kung may nakikitang mali sa kasamahan, dapat itong idaan sa tamang proseso at hindi sa paninira.

Ito ang pangunahing batas na sumasaklaw sa disiplina ng AFP personnel. Ilan sa maaaring i-apply:

🔹 Article 96 – Conduct Prejudicial to Good Order and Military Discipline

Kung ang pag-copy paste ay:

Naglalaman ng maling impormasyon tungkol sa unit

Nakakasira sa reputasyon ng AFP

Naglalabas ng internal o classified info

Pwede itong ituring na paglabag dahil nakakasama ito sa military discipline.

🔹 Article 97 – Conduct Unbecoming an Officer and a Gentleman

Para ito sa officers. Kung ang pag-post ay:

Bastos

Paninira

Hindi naaayon sa asal ng isang opisyal

Maaaring ma-charge under this article.

2️⃣ Revised Penal Code of the Philippines

Kung ang copy-paste post ay:

Libelous (paninirang puri)

Naglalaman ng false accusations

Maaaring pumasok ang cyber libel.

3️⃣ Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012

Kung ang copy-paste ay ginawa online at may:

Paninirang puri

Fake news na may malicious intent

Paglabag sa data privacy

Maaaring magkaroon ng criminal liability.
