HOUSE TO HOUSE SURVEY
21 MAY 2026

Bureau of Fire Protection Labrador Fire Sub-Station, led by SFO3 Steve C. Samson, conducted a house-to-house survey in Barangay Labrador, Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay as part of the Bureau of Fire Protectionโ€™s Oplan Ligtas Pamayanan program. The activity focused on identifying potential fire hazards, promoting fire safety awareness, and educating residents on proper electrical usage, safe cooking practices, and emergency preparedness measures.

Through this initiative, residents were reminded of the importance of maintaining a fire-safe household and staying alert to prevent fire incidents within the community.

Charging your phone on beds, pillows, sofas, or under blankets can trap heat and prevent proper ventilation. Over time, excessive heat may damage the battery and in rare cases lead to smoke, fire, or battery failure.

fire extinguisher during a fire!
