The Municipality of Cabagan welcomed the Office of the Provincial Assessor for the conduct of Real Property Assessment Supervision and Monitoring on the result of 2024 General Revision.

The activity was led by Ms. Yulma Marie C. Balabbo, Assistant Provincial Assessor for Field Operation, together with Mr. Mark Genz Syjongtian Siquian, Tax Mapper I.

The supervision and monitoring activity aimed to assess the implementation of the 2024 General Revision and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and proper implementation of real property assessments in accordance with existing laws, rules, and regulations.

During the activity, the Office of the Provincial Assessor commended the cooperation, dedication, and collective efforts of the entire staff of the Office of the Municipal Assessor in carrying out the requirements and ensuring the proper implementation of the general revision. The commendation serves as an encouragement to the whole team to continue upholding accuracy, efficiency, integrity, and excellence in public service.

The Municipal Assessor’s Office conducted its monthly meeting, focusing on office accomplishments and upcoming activities.

Among the matters discussed were the Appraisal and Assessment of Undeclared Properties and the re-assessment of declared properties for taxation purposes, as part of the office’s continuing efforts to ensure accurate, updated, and fair property assessment within the municipality.

The office also conducted an actual site verification of residential buildings in Cansan, Cabagan, Isabela to confirm their actual locations and ensure that they are properly identified and accurately recorded.
