The Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Camagong expresses its sincere appreciation and gratitude for the successful participation in the series of activities conducted in line with the celebration of the National Disaster Resilience Month 2026.
On July 20, 2026, Sta. Lutgarda National High School actively participated in the Resilience Olympiad: Debate Competition under the leadership of Ma’am Nelia L. Presbitero. On the same date, Barcelonita Fisheries School also demonstrated its commitment to disaster awareness and preparedness through its participation in the Resilience Olympiad: Quiz Challenge, guided by Ma’am Marlene Z. Caceres
Subsequently, on July 28, 2026, BLGU–Camagong took part in the Province-wide Nighttime Earthquake Evacuation Simulation, showcasing the community’s readiness, coordination, and collective effort in promoting safety and resilience during emergency situations.
These meaningful engagements were made possible through the unwavering support of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Cabusao, headed by Mr. Jose V. Reyes III. Likewise, this would not have been achieved without the strong leadership, guidance, and continuous support of the Municipal Mayor of Cabusao, Hon. Jose Gil A. Aguilar, Jr.
The BLGU–Camagong extends its heartfelt gratitude to all participating institutions, facilitators, and stakeholders whose dedication and cooperation contributed to the success of these initiatives. Together, we continue to strengthen our commitment towards building a safer, more prepared, and disaster-resilient community.
