Advancing the shared commitment to regional stability, the DSWD Field Office 10, through the Peace and Development Buong Bansa Mapayapa (PDBBM) program, conducted a courtesy call and coordination meeting with the 2nd Mechanized Infantry โMagbalantayโ Brigade. The engagement was met by COL. Bernardo A. Taqueban, Acting Brigade Commander, providing a vital venue to align our 2026 targets for the PAYAPA AT MASAGANANG PAMAYANAN (PAMANA) LGU-led Program.
A key focus of the discussion was the formal orientation on implementation and the coordination of the target list for identified Peopleโs Organizations slated to receive support this year. By harmonizing our efforts with the security sector, DSWD-10 ensures that program resources are utilized effectively for validation, planning, and sustainable community growth.
This strong collaboration with the Armed Forces of the Philippines underscores the "Whole-of-Nation" approach, ensuring that our social protection and peace-building initiatives reach the hearts of our communities in Northern Mindanao.
