Tonight, we proudly unveil the fifteen warriors who will carry the colors, pride, and spirit of Lapasan in the upcoming Golden Friendship Cup. More than players, they are storytellers of sacrifice, discipline, and determination, ready to leave every ounce of effort on the court for the people they represent.

Each dribble echoes the hopes of a community. Each step forward carries the legacy of those who came before them. And every battle they face will be fought with courage, humility, and heart.

As they wear the name of Lapasan across their chests, we ask our community to stand behind them, cheer for them, and journey with them. For victories are sweeter when celebrated together, and challenges become lighter when carried by many.

This is more than basketball. This is pride. This is purpose. This is what it means to be Lapasanon.

𝗦𝗞 𝗟𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 | 𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 🧡

Our office has successfully concluded its 6th Regular Session, during which key agenda items were thoroughly discussed, adopted, and resolved.

Among the primary matters tackled was the active involvement of the youth in sports, cultural, and community-centered activities, particularly in preparation for the upcoming sitio fiestas of San Juan 1, San Juan 2, and Lawesbra. These celebrations serve as avenues for entertainment, sports development, community engagement, and youth welfare initiatives.

The council also discussed preparations for the upcoming anniversary of the Lapasan Youth Federation, as well as our participation in the forthcoming Golden Friendship Cup (GFC), where we reaffirmed our commitment to strengthening the support system for our athletes and team.

In preparation for Pride Month, the council likewise discussed activities and initiatives that promote inclusivity, respect, and meaningful youth participation, ensuring that every member of the community is recognized and valued.

In line with good governance and accountability, the session also focused on preparations for the upcoming Oro Youth Assessment, including the consolidation of financial records, documentation of implemented programs and activities, and the review of internal operations.

Additionally, the council outlined its role and participation in the upcoming Balik Eskwela initiatives to ensure continued support for students and educational institutions within the barangay.

Through these collective efforts, our office remains steadfast in fulfilling its mandate and serving as a driving force for youth empowerment, community development, and responsive public service.

We are pleased to officially announce our participation in the upcoming Golden Friendship Cup. Once again, we will carry the pride of a community that helped shape and light up this tournament in its recent editions.

The path ahead will not be easy, and we understand the challenges that come with defending a legacy. Yet, we firmly believe that no obstacle is too great when there is faith, hard work, and trust in God's plan. What may seem impossible in the eyes of many can become possible through perseverance, unity, and unwavering belief. No achievement is earned alone, and no one stands above the guidance and grace of God.

As we pursue the goal of reclaiming the title, we will also share the journey of this team, the sacrifices, lessons, victories, and struggles that come with representing our community. More than a basketball team, these young athletes carry the hopes, pride, and spirit of every Lapasanon.

Our office extends its sincere congratulations to the ISDA Lapasan Association, headed by President Clintjosh Talledo, and especially to Project Head Tiffany Namoc, for spearheading this timely and meaningful environmental initiative.

Over the course of a month, the organization successfully collected plastic bottles and converted them into funds used to purchase cleaning materials for the upcoming Brigada Eskwela. This effort is a testament to the power of youth leadership, environmental stewardship, and community involvement.

Your dedication and commitment to serving the community have not gone unnoticed. Through your actions, you have demonstrated that even simple initiatives can create a meaningful impact when driven by purpose and collective effort.

This achievement also reflects our office's commitment to supporting and empowering young leaders as they pursue initiatives that contribute to the welfare and development of our community.

Here’s the “official” lineup for this year’s Golden Friendship Cup! After countless meetings, sleepless nights, scouting reports, ug mga “unsa man gyud final ani?” moments sa coaching staff… finally, napili na gyud ang grupo nga mo depensa sa titulo. 😭

From explosive scorers, lockdown defenders, hangtod sa mga player nga murag walay kapoy mudagan, kompleto na gyud ang roster. 💪

Pero murag dugay pani sila mouli ha… kay medyo chada raba ang pag-atiman sa ilaha sa Agusan del Sur. Basin didto nalang sila magpa-ampon. 😭

Pero naa pay mas dakong problema…
Nalipat mig butang sa poster atong official vlogger nga si “Player Spotted 2.0” kay mas busy pa daw siyag pangita ug cinematic angles sa warm-up kaysa sa actual duwa. 📸😂

PS: Ayaw sa mo tuo dayon ha… basin naa pay kalit nga trade, injury reserve, o imported player gikan NBA sa comments section. 👀😭

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱.

Every opportunity and every task is taken with sincerity and commitment. After days of conditioning and consistent routines, 47 young athletes have been narrowed down to 15 who are now ready to defend the title. They carry with them the true spirit of being a Lapasanon, courageous, strong, and independent.

Lapasanons, we move forward once again with determination in our hearts. Nothing is impossible when we work together.
