As part of its continuing commitment to education and youth development, the Barangay successfully conducted the distribution of school supplies to students in preparation for the upcoming school year. This yearly initiative aims to help ease the financial burden of parents while ensuring that learners are equipped with the basic materials they need as classes begin.

Children received notebooks, pens, pencils, and other essential school items with smiles and excitement, reflecting the community’s shared hope for another productive and successful academic year.

Through programs like this, the Barangay continues to show its dedication in supporting every child’s education and inspiring the kids to pursue their dreams through learning and perseverance.

Families and residents lined the streets carrying their offerings, each one representing prayers, intentions, and heartfelt wishes for their loved ones and the entire community. The curtains have officially closed on another thrilling season of the Barangay San Vicente Interzonal Basketball League 2026, and once again, it is Zone 6 standing tall at center court, completing a remarkable back-to-back championship run.

But this championship was far from easy.

In a finals showdown that kept the entire crowd on the edge of their seats, Zone 6 and Zone 4 delivered a battle worthy of a championship stage, intense, physical, emotional, and fiercely competitive until the final buzzer. Every possession mattered, every basket ignited the crowd, and both teams showed the true meaning of heart and determination.

Zone 4 deserves immense recognition for pushing the champions to their limits and proving themselves as warriors throughout the series. It was a finals matchup that showcased not just talent, but pride, discipline, and the spirit of basketball in Barangay San Vicente.

To all participating teams, players, coaches, organizers, and supporters, congratulations for making this season a success. Your passion and sportsmanship brought life to the league and united the community through the love of the game.

And to Zone 6 — history has been written.

An exciting exhibition game was held yesterday courtesy of Municipal Mayor Juditas L. Trinidad and Vice Mayor Ferdie B. Trinidad to give the people an enjoyable and thrilling game to watch before the final games of the Interzonal League of Barangay San Vicente officially begin.

The exhibition game featured the participating players from Barangay San Vicente and Barangay Sta. Rosa, showcasing great teamwork, sportsmanship, and basketball talent on the court.
