Our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the Barangay Aguit-itan and Carayman Child Development Centers, and especially to Mayor Felix Roma Panganoron, for warmly welcoming our children through the Lakbay Bulilit: Field Trip to the Community Program.

This activity highlights the importance of guiding young learners as they explore various offices that deliver essential public services. It serves as an inspiration for their future career paths and helps broaden their knowledge and understanding of the community.

The children continue their visits to different government and private offices in Calbayog City, giving them meaningful exposure and valuable learning experiences.

Christ the King College of Calbayog City, Inc. proudly announces that it has been officially granted the Certificate to Operate the Pre-Nursery and Toddlers Program on November 7, 2025.

CKC has been authorized to operate the program for three (3) years, following its full compliance with the standards and requirements set by the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Council for center-based programs catering to children aged 0 to 4 years old.

This certificate was issued by the Office of the Calbayog City Mayor and signed by Hon. Mayor Raymund C. Uy, affirming the institution’s commitment to providing quality early childhood education and care to young learners.

Enrollment for the Pre-Nursery and Toddlers Program begins on May 4 to June 5, 2026.
The official start of classes is on June 8, 2026.
Tuition fee: ₱25,000.

𝐊𝐈𝐂𝐊-𝐎𝐅𝐅 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐄 | 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

The City Social Welfare and Development Office - Calbayog City, Samar - ECCD & Protection Unit successfully conducted the Kick-off Parade last November 17, 2025 in celebration of the National Children’s Month 2025, with the official theme:
“𝐎𝐒𝐀𝐄𝐂-𝐂𝐒𝐀𝐄𝐌 𝐖𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧: 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚, 𝐈𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧!”

This month-long observance highlights the collective effort to protect children from Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials (CSAEM), as well as other forms of abuse and exploitation. Activities across the country aim to ensure that children’s rights, safety, and overall well-being remain a top priority.

The parade began and ended at the Calbayog City Hall Stage. The program opened with a heartfelt prayer led by Ma’am Agnes G. Comota (CDT, Central CDC), followed by the National Anthem conducted by Ma’am Ania H. Poño (CDT, Matobato CDC).

We extend our warmest appreciation to the participating Child Development Centers, the Magic 20, and the nearby barangays who joined and supported this meaningful event:
