The Municipality of Capas Tourism proudly invites all barangays to present their official representatives who embody the values of confidence, leadership, intelligence, character, and service.

As each barangay prepares to select its finest candidate, we look forward to witnessing outstanding gentlemen who will proudly represent their communities and compete for the prestigious title of Ginoong Capas 2026.

𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙇𝙄𝘾𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 𝙁𝙊𝙍𝙈𝙎

Application forms are available at the Capas Tourism Office.

𝙎𝙐𝙈𝙈𝘼𝙍𝙔 𝙊𝙁 𝙌𝙐𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙁𝙄𝘾𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝙎

• Male, 18–25 years old
• Filipino citizen, born in Capas, Tarlac, or a bona fide resident of the Municipality of Capas
• At least 5'7" in height
• In good physical and mental health and capable of fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of a Ginoong Capas 2026 candidate

𝘽𝘼𝙎𝙄𝘾 𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙇𝙄𝘾𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 𝙍𝙀𝙌𝙐𝙄𝙍𝙀𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙎

•Duly accomplished Candidate Application Form (handwritten in black ink, using capital letters and print handwriting)
•Certification and Endorsement Letter signed by the Barangay Captain and SK Chairperson
• Submit all requirements to the Organizing Team through the Capas Tourism Office
• 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝐨𝐟 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

OFFICIAL ADVISORY | MT. PINATUBO TREKKING VIA CAPAS IS NOW OPEN 🌋

The Municipality of Capas Tourism Office is pleased to announce the official reopening of the Mt. Pinatubo Trekking Adventure via Capas, effective July 16, 2026.

Visitors are once again invited to experience the breathtaking beauty of one of the Philippines’ most renowned natural attractions. The adventure includes a scenic 4×4 ride across the lahar landscape, a guided trek through canyons and river crossings, and spectacular views of the iconic Mt. Pinatubo Crater Lake, while also offering an opportunity to appreciate the culture, traditions, and hospitality of the local Aeta community.

To help preserve this unique destination for future generations, all visitors are encouraged to observe the Leave No Trace principles by respecting the environment, disposing of waste properly, and leaving the area as they found it.

For a safe and enjoyable journey, visitors are advised to:

• Wear appropriate trekking attire and sturdy footwear.
• Bring sufficient drinking water, light snacks, and sun protection.
• Follow the instructions of accredited tour guides at all times.
• Register and secure the necessary permits through the Capas Tourism Office before the trek.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Mt. Pinatubo via Capas and sharing an unforgettable adventure in one of the country’s most remarkable natural landscapes.

ADVISORY | MT. PINATUBO TEMPORARILY CLOSED

For the safety of all trekkers, the Mt. Pinatubo Eco-Trail via Capas Trail is temporarily CLOSED due to the prevailing inclement weather brought about by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Although Typhoon INDAY has already moved away, its lingering effects continue to bring heavy rains, strong winds, and unsafe trail conditions.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Please wait for our official advisory regarding the reopening of the Mt. Pinatubo Eco-Trail via Capas Trail.

The 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘀 was honored to host 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗰 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 on 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at the𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘇𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗮.

A meaningful gathering that strengthened partnerships, discussed the Province’s tourism plans and upcoming initiatives, and reaffirmed our shared commitment to promoting sustainable tourism while showcasing the rich heritage and diverse attractions of Tarlac Province.

​The forum provided an essential platform for addressing legal protections, health, and holistic wellness tailored to LGBT couples within the community. By fostering open dialogue and providing expert insights, the initiative reinforces our municipality’s commitment to equal rights, safety, and institutional support for all constituents.

In celebration of Pride Month, the Local Government Unit of Capas, Tarlac, is proud to host a Legal & Wellness Forum dedicated to supporting and empowering our LGBT couples.
