As Chairperson Com on Transportation I am overwhelmed for the success of my initiative of this 2- day Free Theoritical Driving Course (TDC) conducted on June 17–18, 2026, was successfully completed.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our resource persons from the LTO Regional Office: Mr. Bernard Bacay, Mr. Gemmuel Eola, Mr. Rey Mark Alada, and Mr. Jonel Tupas, Acting Chief of LTO Pilar, for sharing their knowledge and expertise with our participants.

We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Mayor Arnold T. Betita II, Vice Mayor Earl Patrick Betita, and SB Member Regie Ann Ibañez for their presence and unwavering support. Special thanks as well to Kap. Gina Marcelo for graciously hosting this activity.

Our deepest appreciation goes to the Local Franchising Team and to everyone who contributed their time and effort to ensure the success of this program.

Congratulations to the 179 participants who successfully completed the TDC program! We look forward to a positive response from our applicants for student permits and encourage everyone to continue practicing responsible driving.

Let us all work together and be partners in promoting road safety for our community.

The proposed Municipal Ordinance No. 2026-007 aims to establish an official fare matrix for motorcycle tricycles-for-hire in the Municipality of Carles. This initiative seeks to provide fair, transparent, and standardized fares for both passengers and drivers while promoting safe, legal, and orderly transportation services.

This proposal was developed through consultations with TODA representatives, drivers, stakeholders, and community members to ensure that the interests of everyone are considered.

Together, let us support a transportation system that is fair, reasonable, and beneficial to the entire community. 🛺🇵🇭
