Public Hearing conducted by the Committee on Laws, Justice, Human Rights, and Public Accountability of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Northern Samar was held on May 6, 2026.

Mayo 6, 2026 Sumuroy Hall, Provincial Capitol Brgy Dalakit Catarman

Isang napaka gandang ordinansa na naglalayong gawing frontliner ang mga Barangay Development Workers o BDW sa pagpapaunlad ng kooperatiba.

Ang panukalang ito iniakda ni Board member Don L. Abalon Committee Chairman, kasama ang kapwa SP members.
Board Member Lope Dorado Jr., Board member Emil Nicholas Ongchuan II, Board member Gina Silvano, Board member Leonida Laodenio, Board member Neil Hernandez, at si Board member Gerardo Gerard Miranda.

Sa nasabing ordinansa, ang mga BDW ang siyang tutulong, magpo-promote, at magmo-monitor ng mga kooperatiba sa bawat barangay.

Layon nitong palakasin ang kabuhayan ng komunidad at matiyak ang sustainable na pag-unlad.

Sa pagdinig, nagpahayag ng suporta ang iba't ibang stakeholders at ahensya.

Tiniyak naman ng komite na maglalaan ng pondo para sa epektibong implementasyon ng nasabing panukala.

Bahagi ito ng patuloy na adbokasiya ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan para sa empowerment ng mamamayan at patuloy na pag unlad ng Norther Samar.

To all our dear friends, fellow Government workers & officials, relatives, brothers and sisters in religious organizations, and to our beloved family, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your love, prayers, flowers, presence, and support during the wake, 9-day vigil, Holy Masses, and internment 9am this morning, May 7,2026 @ Don Paco Cemetery, of our beloved eldest brother, Leonard “Boy” Dorado.

Your kindness, comforting words, and prayers have given strength and peace to our family during this difficult time.

We are especially thankful to the KC Choir for rendering beautiful and solemn songs during the Mass intended for his eternal rest.

Your heartfelt service truly touched our hearts and made the celebration of his life more meaningful.

May God bless each and every one of you for your compassion and generosity.

We continue to pray that our dear brother Leonard “Boy” Dorado may rest peacefully in the loving embrace of our Almighty Father.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you very much.

Ang Labor Day (Araw ng mga Manggagawa) ay isang pandaigdigang pagdiriwang tuwing May 1 na nagbibigay-pugay sa kontribusyon ng mga manggagawa sa lipunan at ekonomiya.

Araw ito ng pagkilala sa karapatan at sakripisyo ng mga manggagawa.
