𝗗𝗔𝗥 𝗩𝗜𝗜 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝟮𝗡𝗗 𝗜𝗡 𝗪𝗘𝗕 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

The Regional and Provincial Information Officers of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Region VII placed second in the Web Designing Practical Assessment held during the concluding day of the Website Development and Enhancement Training for Regional Information Officers (RIOs) and Provincial Information Officers (PIOs), on May 27, 2026, in Bacoor, Cavite.

Participated in by information officers from DAR regional and provincial offices nationwide, the activity featured a friendly practical assessment designed to evaluate the participants’ application of lessons and techniques discussed throughout the three-day training.

Representing DAR Region VII were RIO Stephanie T. Becari, PIO Raxxin Dane L. Perocho, and PIO Shaina Mae A. Rubino. Despite being among the teams with the fewest members, the group successfully delivered an impressive output during the assessment.

The practical exercise formed part of the training’s culminating activities, allowing participants to demonstrate their creativity, technical skills, and understanding of website development and enhancement.

Present during the activity and serving as members of the panel were Undersecretary Rowena Niña O. Taduran, DPA; Assistant Secretary Jose Jenil C. Demorito; Director Agnez B. Mendoza; Director Eric Arevalo; and resource speakers Mr. Daniw Q. Santiago and Mr. Gabriel Rivera.

Classic family moment.

Not all Mother’s Day conversations are dramatic and sweet. Sometimes, love at home is hidden in the most ordinary ways—sa mga sugo, sa mga yawyaw, ug sa mga tubag nga murag lalis pero puno diay og comfort.

What others may see as “pakig-lalis” can also be a sign of closeness—the kind where both parent and child are comfortable enough to joke, complain, and still understand each other at the end of the day.

And maybe one day, these little exchanges we often laugh at or complain about will become the moments we miss the most… especially when the house gets quieter someday.

𝗗𝗔𝗥 𝗣𝗣𝗠𝗢 𝗕𝗢𝗛𝗢𝗟 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗧 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧

Following the comprehensive assessment of the Department of Agrarian Reform Region VII’s Cebu Provincial Project Management Office (PPMO), the second day of the First Quarter Assessment under the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project focused on the accomplishments and milestones of PPMO Bohol, on May 7, 2026.

Aside from identifying the office’s notable achievements, the assessment also tackled the Problems, Issues, Needs, and Concerns (PINCs) of PPMO Bohol’s Legal and Land Tenure Improvement Division where recommendations and guidance were provided by Regional Project Manager Atty. Sheila B. Enciso, Assistant Regional Project Manager for Operations Atty. Marianito Q. Mojica Jr., and Regional GRM Coordinator Atty. Neili B. Resma, together with the coordinators from the DAR Regional Office VII.

The initiative supports the directive of DAR Secretary Conrado M. Estrella III to achieve the department’s land distribution targets for the year while ensuring a thorough assessment of provincial performance in implementing the SPLIT Project.

Representing PPMO Bohol during the assessment were Provincial Project Manager Dr. Ronald I. Pumatong and the office’s coordinators.

𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 1239, which declares May 6 - 8, 2026 as special non-working days in view of Cebu serving as the host province of the 48th ASEAN Summit, work in the Department of Agrarian Reform Regional Office VII and its Provincial Office in Cebu is hereby suspended.

The ten-hour compressed work arrangement, with office operations from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, shall resume effective Monday, May 11, 2026.
