WATER LEVEL MONITORING & ROVING OPERATION ADVISORY 🚨🌊

Personnel of the San Nicolas Proper - Emergency Response Unit are actively conducting roving operations and continuous water level monitoring across our Area of Responsibility (AOR).

As of our latest monitoring, the water level at the Pahina Central River (near Taboan Market) has reached 2 METERS.

Responders remain on high alert and on-site to continuously track river conditions, assess flood-prone zones, and ensure the safety of residents nearby.

⚠️ SAFETY REMINDER: Residents living along riverbanks and low-lying areas are advised to stay vigilant, monitor official updates, and prepare necessary precautions. In case of emergency, please contact your local response unit immediately.

San Nicolas Proper Emergency Rescue Department, headed by Team Captain Jomber Paclipan, is officially deployed for Holy Week operations from Maundy Thursday through Good Friday.

PLEASE DO NOT PANIC — THIS IS ONLY A KICK-OFF MOTORCADE FOR FIRE PREVENTION MONTH 2026

The Cebu City Fire Station informs the public that tomorrow, March 1, 2026, marks the start of Fire Prevention Month 2026.
As part of the kick-off ceremony, a motorcade with more than 60 fire trucks, rescue vehicles, and EMS ambulances from BFP, Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Barangay Fire Brigades, and Private Fire Brigades will travel around Cebu City with sounding sirens.

📢 This is a planned awareness activity only and NOT an emergency situation.
Please remain calm and give way to the convoy.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
