With the strong commitment and continued support of Governor Pam Baricuatro - The People's Governor, the Pdea Region VII, in partnership with the Cebu Provincial Government through the Cebu Provincial Anti Drug Abuse Division and Cebu Police Provincial Office, continues to conduct onsite validations in different LGUs across Cebu.

The recent validation activities covered the following areas:

■ August 10, 2026 – Pinamungajan, 19 barangays
■ August 11, 2026 – Toledo City, 18 barangays
■ August 12–13, 2026 – Tuburan, 45 barangays
■ August 14, 2026 – Asturias, 22 barangays
■ August 14, 2026 – Balamban, 7 barangays
■ August 18, 2026 – Argao, 10 barangays
■ August 18, 2026 – Sibonga, 11 barangays

Pinaagi niining onsite validation, gitan-aw ang mga programa ug kalihokan nga padayon nga gipatuman sa mga barangay isip kabahin sa ilang anti-drug sustainability efforts. This also highlights the continued implementation of demand reduction activities that help prevent drug use and strengthen community participation.

Padayon ang paningkamot sa mga LGU, barangay officials, BADAC members, ug community partners aron mapadayon ang drug-cleared status ug mapalig-on ang mga programa batok sa illegal nga droga.

With the strong commitment and continued support of Governor Pam Baricuatro - The People's Governor in strengthening anti-drug efforts in local communities, the Pdea Region VII, in partnership with the Cebu Provincial Government through the Cebu Provincial Anti Drug Abuse Division, conducted the Onsite Validation for the Sustainability of Drug-Cleared Status in the Sixth District of Cebu Province on August 7, 2026.

The validation covered:

■ Municipality of Consolacion – 16 barangays
■ Municipality of Cordova– 9 barangays

The activity checked the continued implementation of anti-drug programs and demand reduction activities in the barangays. It also highlighted the efforts of local officials and community partners in keeping their communities drug-cleared.

The Cebu Provincial Government sincerely thanks the local chief executives, MADAC Focal Persons, barangay officials, BADAC members, and all LGU and MADAC staff for their support, cooperation, and continued efforts toward safer and drug-free communities.

With the strong commitment and continued support of Governor Pam Baricuatro - The People's Governor in advancing grassroots anti-drug initiatives, the Pdea Region VII, in partnership with the Cebu Provincial Government through the Cebu Provincial Anti Drug Abuse Division, conducted a series of Onsite Validations for the Sustainability of Drug-Cleared Status across the Bantayan Island group.

The validation activities covered the following local government units:

■ August 3, 2026 – Municipality of Santa Fe, covering 10 barangays
■ August 3, 2026 – Municipality of Madridejos, covering 14 barangays
■ August 4, 2026 – Municipality of Bantayan, covering 25 barangays

The activities assessed the sustained implementation of anti-drug initiatives and demand reduction programs at the barangay level, reinforcing the collective efforts of local governments and communities in maintaining drug-cleared status.

The Cebu Provincial Government extends its sincere appreciation to the local chief executives, MADAC Focal Persons, barangay officials, BADAC members, and all local government personnel for their cooperation and continued commitment to sustaining safer and drug-free communities.

REGIONAL MONITORING OF THE COMMUNITY-BASED DRUG REHABILITATION PROGRAM (CBDRP)

With the strong commitment and continued support of Governor Pam Baricuatro - The People's Governor in advancing the Province’s anti-drug programs and initiatives, the Cebu Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Division (CPADAD), together with the Department of Health Central Visayas Center for Health Development Monitoring Team, conducted the Regional Monitoring of Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP) across the Local Government Units (LGUs) within Cebu Province on the following schedules:
📍 July 27–31, 2026 – Southern LGUs
📍 August 3–7, 2026 – Northern LGUs

The monitoring activity goes beyond compliance assessment. It seeks to gain a clearer understanding of the actual situation on the ground, identify areas where LGUs may require assistance, and provide appropriate technical support from the CPADAD and DOH Regional Office to enhance and strengthen program implementation.

It also aims to assess compliance with CBDRP Accreditation requirements, validate submitted documents and Means of Verification (MOVs) through the Self-Assessment Monitoring Tool, and ensure that LGUs receive the necessary guidance to further improve program implementation.

With the strong commitment and continued support of Governor Pam Baricuatro - The People's Governor in advancing grassroots anti-drug initiatives, the Pdea Region VII, in partnership with the Cebu Provincial Anti Drug Abuse Division, successfully conducted a series of Onsite Validations for the Sustainability of Drug-Cleared Status in the following local government units:

● July 24, 2026 – Municipality of Tabogon (24 barangays)

● July 27, 2026 – Municipality of Daanbantayan (20 barangays)

● July 28, 2026 – Municipality of Medellin (19 barangays)

● July 29, 2026 – Municipality of San Remigio (27 barangays)

● July 30, 2026 – Bogo City (29 barangays)

● July 31, 2026 – Municipality of Tabuelan (12 barangays)

The validation activities assessed the sustained implementation of anti-drug programs and demand reduction initiatives at the barangay level, ensuring continued compliance with the standards of the Barangay Drug Clearing Program.

This meaningful initiative equipped our dedicated service providers with the knowledge, skills, and compassion needed to deliver quality rehabilitation services and facilitate appropriate referrals to treatment facilities and community-based support programs.

Together with our committed Rural Health Physician, healthcare workers, PNP representatives, CBDRP Focal Person, MADAC Focal Person, and staff, everyone's active participation, shared experiences, and collaborative spirit made this activity not only informative but also truly inspiring.

With the continued guidance and support of 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 Pam Baricuatro - The People's Governor, a two-day training on 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗦𝗕𝗜𝗥𝗧) 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 was successfully conducted on 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟳–𝟮𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at the 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝗷𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 – 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 in 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝗷𝗼𝗼𝗻, 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂.

🌿 Strengthening Communities, One Step at a Time! 💚

With the continued support of Governor Pam Baricuatro - The People's Governor the 2-Day Training for Service Providers on the Guidance Manual on Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP) was successfully held last July 16-17, 2026 at Ma. Lina Catering Services Function Hall, Barangay Dakit, Bogo City, Cebu.

This meaningful initiative empowered our dedicated service providers with the right knowledge, skills, and compassion needed to deliver quality rehabilitation services and make appropriate referrals to treatment facilities and community-based support programs. Through this training, participants were reminded that recovery is not only a process, it’s a partnership between the community, local government, and every individual willing to change. 🌱

The 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 (𝗧𝗢𝗧) 𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝗔𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 successfully concluded on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟯𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹, equipping participants with essential knowledge and facilitation skills to become effective advocates of drug abuse prevention in their respective communities.

The three-day training was led by the 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 (𝗗𝗗𝗕) 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 headed by 𝙈𝙨. 𝙀𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙚 𝘿. 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙖, Chief of the Preventive Education, Training, and Information Division, together with 𝙈𝙨. 𝙀𝙙𝙣𝙖 𝘼. 𝙑𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙤, 𝙈𝙨. 𝙇𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙁. 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙖, 𝙈𝙨. 𝙉𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙖 𝙇. 𝙁𝙞𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙧. 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙥𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙀. 𝘿𝙚𝙡 𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙤.

The event was honored by the presence of 𝘿𝘿𝘽 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙊𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙧 𝙁. 𝙑𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙯𝙪𝙚𝙡𝙖 and 𝙐𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝘼𝙗𝙖𝙙 𝙃. 𝙊𝙨𝙞𝙩, who emphasized the importance of empowering the youth through preventive education and strong community partnerships. Also inspiring the participants was 𝙈𝙨. 𝙈𝙞𝙠𝙚𝙚 𝙋𝙚𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙤-𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨, Executive Secretary and Provincial Focal Person on Youth, who delivered the message on behalf of 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙤𝙧 Pam Baricuatro - The People's Governor. In her message, she emphasized the vital role of young leaders in building resilient, healthy, and drug-free communities.

This initiative reflects the Province of Cebu's unwavering commitment to strengthening drug abuse prevention through education, collaboration, and youth empowerment. It was made possible through the Governor's continued support and steadfast leadership in championing programs that promote the well-being and brighter future of every Cebuano.
