On September 3, 2026//Personnel of Cebu MARPSTA, under the supervision of PMAJ RANDY P. VERAN, Station Chief, conducted a buy-bust operation.
The operation resulted in the arrest of an individual, for an alleged violation of RA 9147 (Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act of 2001) in relation to RA 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012).
Seized during the operation were two (2) live Green Iguanas, boodle money and one cellular phone.
The arrested suspect and seized evidence were brought to Cebu MARPSTA for proper documentation and disposition in accordance with law.

September 2, 2026 || Security Coverage thru Police Visibility during the departure of PBGEN ARNOLD EVANGELISTA ABAD, RD PRO7 and Party from Cebu bound to Bohol onboard Lite Cat Ferries at Pier 3, Port of Cebu City.

Cebu MARPSTA, led by PSSg Rezzie S Ponce under the direct supervision of PMAJ RANDY P VERAN, Station Chief of Cebu MARPSTA, together with personnel from PS3 Waterfront, CCPO, and the PPA Security Guard also rendered Security Coverage thru Police Visibility upon departure of PBGEN ABAD, RD PRO7 at Pier 3, Port of Cebu, Cebu City.

The security coverage was conducted to ensure the safety and security of the Regional Director and his party, as well as to maintain peace and order within the port premises during their departure. The activity was successfully carried out without any untoward incident.
