On 31 August 2026, the CTU Main ROTC Unit was honored to render the Entrance and Exit of Colors during the Induction of New Members of the Aduana Eagles Club, Cebu North Liloan Eagles Club, and Cebu Unified Eagles Club in Central Visayas Region 1 under the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Philippine Eagles, Inc., held at Big Hotel Mandaue City, Cebu.

The ceremony marked the formal welcome of new members into the organization, recognizing their commitment to uphold the values and mission of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. The presence of the CTU Main ROTC Unit added dignity, formality, and a patriotic spirit to the occasion, contributing to the solemnity of the induction rites.

The activity was supervised by Pvt Aneleise L Manayaga PA (Res) and Pvt Geshiel Sabroso PA (Res), Graduate Military Assistants, to ensure the duty was carried out with professionalism and discipline.

Today, 31 August 2026, the CTU-Main ROTC Unit solemnly joins the nation in commemorating National Heroes Day, honoring the brave men and women who gave their lives so that the Filipino people could live in freedom and dignity.

Our heroes did not fight for glory or recognition but out of a profound love for their country and a deep desire to see every Filipino live a life of freedom, equality, and justice. Their legacy is the foundation of everything we are as a nation today.

As we honor their memory, let us commit to carrying their spirit forward through lives of integrity, service, and genuine love of country. The greatest tribute we can offer is not simply to remember them but to live out the values they died defending. Mabuhay ang mga Bayani ng Pilipinas!

On 26 to 28 August 2026, the CTU Main ROTC Unit proudly rendered the Entrance and Exit of Colors during the Workshop on University Internal Quality Assurance Implementation in the Philippines, jointly organized by AACCUP, AQAN, AUN, and SEAMEO RIHED, held at the CTU Main Campus Gymnatorium.

The workshop brought together distinguished guests, facilitators, and participants from various higher education institutions, focusing on the implementation of the AUN-QA IQA Management Toolkit Version 1.3. The participation of the CTU Main ROTC Unit in this significant international quality assurance initiative reflects their commitment to supporting the university in activities that contribute to institutional development and excellence.

On 20 August 2026, the CTU Main ROTC Unit wrapped up its participation in Panagtagbo 2026: The CebuTech Week of Welcome Festival during the Closing Ceremony held at Cebu Technological University, Main Campus.

Throughout the closing day, the unit continued to manage their booth and assist with crowd control, keeping the same level of discipline and dedication they showed from the very start. The booth remained active and welcoming, giving fellow students a chance to learn more about the CTU Main ROTC Unit in a fun and engaging way.

The CTU Main ROTC Unit was also recognized with the "Best in Use of Space" award, a reflection of the unit's hard work, creativity, and teamwork in making their booth stand out throughout the entire festival.

On 20 August 2026, the CTU-Main Campus Reserve Officers' Training Corps received a Courtesy Call from the 14th Civil-Military Operations "Katipanan" Battalion (14CMOBn). The meeting was held at the Admin Building, 7th Floor Conference Room.

The meeting was attended by Campus Director Dr. Gregorio P. Pajaron Jr., and NSTP Director Prof. Belenda P. Babiera, together with LTC NORLEY C OROPESA CMO (GSC) PA, Battalion Commander of the 14CMOBn, key officers of the 14CMOBn, and selected First Class Officers of the unit.

Discussions centered on strengthening peace-building efforts within the campus and surrounding community, promoting student welfare, and planning future seminars on Army career opportunities and benefits. Both parties reaffirmed the 14CMOBn's continued support and partnership with the university.

Today, 21 August 2026, the CTU-Main ROTC Unit solemnly commemorates the 43rd Martyrdom of Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr., a fearless leader whose courage and sacrifice forever changed the course of Philippine history.

On this day in 1983, Ninoy was assassinated upon his return to the Philippines, choosing to face danger rather than abandon his people. His death ignited a flame of national awakening that ultimately restored democracy and proved that the love of country is stronger than the fear of death.

As we honor his memory, let us be inspired by his unwavering dedication to truth and freedom. May his legacy remind us that serving the nation with integrity and courage is the highest form of patriotism.

Today, 18 August 2026, the Cebu Technological University-Main Campus Reserve Officer Training Corps, conducted a Courtesy Call to discuss matters related to the ROTC Program.

The Courtesy Call was graced by Campus Director Dr. Gregorio P. Pajaron Jr., CTU-Main ROTC Unit Commandant LTC ABNER L ESPARCIA (CE) PA, NSTP Director Prof. Belenda P. Babiera, and NSTP Director of CTU-San Fernando Prof. Stevie B. Manugas. Together with CTU-Main ROTC Unit Admin NCO Cpl Amelita M Gilhang (Inf) PA, Tactical NCO Sgt Marcial T Pepito PA (Res), GMA Pvt Ronald T Omictin PA (Res), and all First Class Officers.

Today, 17 August 2026, the CTU Main ROTC Unit proudly rendered service during the Grand Opening Ceremony of Panagtagbo 2026: The CebuTech Week of Welcome Festival, organized by the Supreme Student Government, held at Cebu Technological University, Main Campus.

With the theme "Celebrating Heritage, Strengthening Unity, and Inspiring New Beginnings," the festivities began with the Panag-abot sa Panagtagpo Parade before the Grand Opening Ceremony officially commenced with the Entry of Colors. The program was made even more memorable with the presence of Hon. Nestor D. Archival, Mayor of Cebu City, and Joseph "Ungart" Sabello, a well-known Cebuano content creator, influencer, and entrepreneur, whose energy and words of inspiration made the opening day truly one to remember. Throughout the day, the CTU Main ROTC Unit was deployed for event security, crowd management, safety monitoring, and support operations.

Beyond their security and ceremonial duties, the CTU Main ROTC Unit also set up their own booth, welcoming and entertaining fellow students throughout the day. Through its active participation in university events like this, the unit continues to demonstrate that their commitment to service and discipline goes hand in hand with fostering camaraderie and connection within the university community.
