The IAS encourages the public to verify information before sharing it, exercise caution when engaging online, and protect personal information from potential cyber threats.

As the oversight and disciplinary arm of the PNP, the IAS recognizes that integrity is not only demonstrated through actions but also through the responsible use and dissemination of information. Promoting truth, accountability, and transparency strengthens both public institutions and the communities they serve.

Building strong community relations and public trust begins with accountability, awareness, and active citizen participation—especially among the youth sector.

As part of its continuing initiative to strengthen integrity, transparency, and Community Service-Oriented Policing (CSOP), the Internal Affairs Service (IAS) conducted an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Seminar during the 1st Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly 2026 held in La Trinidad, Benguet.

The activity aimed to enhance awareness among young community leaders regarding the role of the IAS in promoting discipline, professionalism, and accountability within the Philippine National Police (PNP), while emphasizing the importance of community partnership in fostering responsible and service-oriented policing.

Through sustained community engagement and integrity education initiatives, the IAS continues to strengthen public understanding of police accountability mechanisms, encourage cooperation between the police and the community, and promote a culture of professionalism and transparency within the PNP.

By empowering communities and engaging the youth, the IAS reinforces its commitment to building a more credible, accountable, and people-centered police service grounded on integrity and genuine public service.
