Our very own Board Member Paz “Lingling” Rozgoni stands in solidarity today at the State of the Province Address (SOPA) 2026, joining Vice Governor Glenn Anthony Soco, our distinguished Congressmen, fellow Board Members, Mayors, Vice-Mayors, department heads, partner agencies, and valued stakeholders from across the province.

This day is more than a report—it is a testament to collective purpose, shared progress, and the unshakable promise of public service. Halad sa Pagtuo 2026: A Celebration of Faith, Culture, and Heritage

Board Member Paz “LingLing” Rozgoni proudly joined the vibrant and meaningful Halad sa Pagtuo 2026 celebration.

From the Cebu Provincial Capitol, the magnificent procession of 50 beautifully decorated Carozzas from various LGUs made its way through the streets, heading toward the Cebu City Sports Center for the grand Pasundayag 2026. This spectacular display of devotion and heritage was truly a sight to behold!

The event was graced by our distinguished leaders: Governor Pamela Baricuatro, Vice Governor Glenn Soco, our esteemed Congressmen, fellow Board Members, Municipal and City Mayors, Provincial Department Heads, and dedicated officials from across the province. Together with thousands of enthusiastic spectators, we celebrated our deep faith, rich culture, and the unbreakable spirit of the Cebuano people.

This tradition is more than just a celebration—it is a testament to our shared values, our gratitude, and our collective journey toward a stronger, more united Cebu.

A NEW CHAPTER FOR EDUCATION IN ALEGRIA! 🎓🏫

Board Member Paz “Lingling” Rozgoni made an appearance and attended today’s formal inauguration and official opening of the Cebu Normal University – Alegria Campus, marking a historic milestone in bringing quality higher education closer to the communities of the 7th District.

The celebration began with a Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Froilan Bejoc, followed by the ceremonial ribbon-cutting, led by People’s Governor Pamela Baricuatro, Former Cebu 7th District Congressman Atty. Peter John Calderon, Alegria Mayor Gilberto Magallon, Alegria Vice Mayor Verna Magallon, Dr. Daniel Ariaso, Former CNU President, and Dr. Laurence Garcia, SUC President III of CNU.

Also gracing the occasion were the mayors of the 7th District, Barangay Captains of Alegria, teachers, students, and members of the community. Governor Pamela Baricuatro, Atty. Peter John Calderon, and other distinguished officials and heads also delivered messages of support and encouragement for this significant development in education.

The opening of the CNU Alegria Campus is more than the inauguration of a new institution—it is the opening of new doors, new opportunities, and new dreams for young Cebuanos. By bringing quality higher education closer to home, more students will now have greater opportunities to pursue their aspirations and build a better future.

UNIFORM SHIRTS PARA SA MGA TINUN-AN SA ALEGRIA! 💙♥️

Today, Board Member Paz “Lingling” Rozgoni personally distributed uniform shirts to the pupils of Alegria Central Elementary School, together with her dedicated staff. It was a meaningful opportunity to be with the young learners and extend a little support that, hopefully, will bring comfort, confidence, and joy as they continue their studies. 📚✨

Joining us in this simple but meaningful activity were Alegria Vice Mayor Verna Magallon, District Supervisor Clover Redula, and School President Miguela Saycon, together with the hardworking teachers, supportive parents, and the school community who continue to guide and nurture our children.

TWG Tuesdays!

Led by Board Member Paz Lingling Rozgoni, The Technical Working Group once again met for a meeting on the Rehabilitation and Maintenance of the Legislative Building, led by Board Member Rozgoni. The discussion focused on key plans and collaborative efforts to ensure the proper restoration, improvement and continued upkeep of this important government structure.

The meeting was also attended by the Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Atty. Pulchra Marie Aceveda, strengthening the commitment of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan to safeguard and maintain the integrity of the Legislative Building for future generations.
