REASON:
This measure is in response to the Acutely Unhealthy Air Quality Advisory issued by the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) — Region VII, which covers Metro Cebu and affects the Municipality of Compostela.

For the health and safety of all learners, teachers, and school personnel.

Students, parents, and school personnel are advised to take necessary precautions, stay updated through official announcements, and prioritize health and safety.

The Municipality of Compostela – informs the public that classes in all levels, both public and private schools, are SUSPENDED and shift to Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) on Monday, September 21, 2026.

This suspension is being implemented due to the latest Air Quality Advisory of the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) Region VII, indicating acutely unhealthy air quality in Metro Cebu.
