We’re excited to welcome our newly appointed Internal Vice-President and Treasurer to the Student Council. These accomplished students not only bring stellar academic credentials but also a wealth of leadership experience that embodies our school’s spirit of excellence and community.

𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐲𝐧𝐧 𝐂. 𝐒𝐚𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐚—a published researcher, DOST-ASTHRDP scholar, and dedicated leader—will serve as Internal Vice-President. Her commitment to academic innovation and student welfare makes her the perfect choice to help guide us through a dynamic school year.

𝐆𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐋. 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐚—a licensed nurse with a proven record as a class president and organizational board member—is stepping up as Treasurer. Her background in leadership and finance ensures our council will remain both accountable and progressive.

📢 𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐋 𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓’𝐒 𝐀 𝐖𝐑𝐀𝐏! 🗳️

The two-day student council elections for A.Y. 2025-2026 have officially concluded! Held at 𝐀𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟐 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐-𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, this election saw medical students from 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝟏-𝟒 actively participating in shaping the future of our student body.

With both 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐬 utilized, voting opened on 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐 𝐚𝐭 𝟗:𝟎𝟎 𝐀𝐌 and closed on 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟑 𝐚𝐭 𝟓:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌. Immediately after the voting period ended, the 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐂 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 conducted the official tally of votes.

𝐔𝐂𝐒𝐌 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 | 𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

Last 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟑𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, from 𝟏𝟏:𝟎𝟎 𝐀𝐌 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟐:𝟑𝟎 𝐏𝐌, the 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 (𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞) was successfully held at 𝐀𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟐, bringing together the UCSM community in a crucial moment of the student council elections.

The five aspiring candidates took the stage to introduce themselves, sharing their visions and plans for the student body. This was an opportunity for students to engage with the candidates, listen to their platforms, and assess who best represents their hopes for the future of UCSM.

We were honored to have the 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐂𝐒𝐌 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, Dr. Ched Coleen Gay F. Uy, who not only welcomed everyone to the event, but also expressed her hopes for the continuous growth and success of the student body.

Medical students from 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝟏-𝟑 actively participated, lifting their voices and asking questions that reflected their aspirations for the university. This exchange between candidates and voters was a powerful reminder that student leadership thrives on the engagement and collective vision of the entire UCSM community.
