LOOK | The newly elected executive officers and (11) eleven district cooperative chairpersons of the Davao City Cooperative Development Council took their oath of office at the SP Building Session Hall, led by 2nd District Councilor and Chairperson of the Committee on Cooperative Development and People’s Participation, Councilor Al Ryan Alejandre. Following this, the council held its 2nd Regular Meeting for the Annual Plan Year 2026 activities such as Cooperative Month and other Collaborative activities of the Council, at the SP Building Fuchsia Room. Reinforcing their commitment to building stronger cooperatives through strategic planning, unified leadership, and sustainable community development.

Look | Committee Hearing on Application for LGU Accreditation Four (4) cooperatives attended, CSSDO Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (CEMPC), Bankerohan Vendors Credit Cooperative (BVCC), United Homeowners Transport Service Cooperative, Magsaysay Marketing Cooperative. The committee hearing led by 2nd District Councilor and Chairperson of the Committee on Cooperative Development and People’s Participation, Councilor Al Ryan Alejandre.

The session focused on the evaluation of their applications and highlighted the continued commitment to strengthening cooperatives and community participation.

As the Head Secretariat of the Davao City Cooperative Development Council (DCCDC), in collaboration with partner agencies implementing cooperative programs, and attended by 2nd District Councilor and Chairperson of the Committee on Cooperative Development and People’s Participation, Councilor Al Ryan Alejandre, along with eleven (11) political district cooperative representatives, the Council presented its 2024–2025 accomplishments alongside its four-year strategic plan during the regular meeting. These initiatives are aligned with the City Cooperative Programs and the Philippine Cooperative Development Plan, encompassing all priority programs of the DCCDC.

An election of officers was also conducted later that day, culminating in the successful selection of the Council’s newly elected officers: Mr. Eduardo Cervantes (Greengold Farmers Agri-Cooperative) as Chairperson; Mr. Alfonso Andoy Jr. (Biao Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Cooperative) as Vice-Chairperson; Ms. Daisy Joy S. Ferolin (Mindanao Consolidated Cooperative Bank) as Secretary; Ms. Ligaya Seroy (Department of Agriculture -Region XI) as Assistant Secretary; Ms. Myrnaly Guillena (MAGSIGE Multipurpose Cooperative) as Treasurer; and Ms. Lani Catalan (Department of Trade and Industry - Region XI) as Auditor.
