In celebration of International Youth Day and Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, The Local Government Unit of Maragusan through the Local Youth Development Office officially opens the applications for the 2nd Batch of Examination for the 𝙈𝘼𝙍𝘼𝙂𝙐𝙎𝘼𝙉 𝙅𝙐𝙉𝙄𝙊𝙍 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙏𝙃 𝙋𝙐𝘽𝙇𝙄𝘾 𝙊𝙁𝙁𝙄𝘾𝙄𝘼𝙇𝙎 (𝙅𝙔𝙋𝙊) 2026!

Last August 1, the Municipality of Maragusan, through the Local Youth Development Office- Maragusan (LYDO), together with the Sangguniang Kabataan and the Municipal Youth Development Council (MYDC), proudly participated in the Provincial Opening Program of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 in Davao de Oro, celebrating youth empowerment, leadership, and active participation.

We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Charlotte D. Suico and Hon. John Mark Vertudazo for bringing pride to Maragusan Youth by finishing as 𝙏𝙊𝙋 6 𝙁𝙄𝙉𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙎𝙏𝙎 𝙄𝙉 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙋𝙄𝘾𝙆𝙇𝙀𝘽𝘼𝙇𝙇 𝙏𝙊𝙐𝙍𝙉𝘼𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏 during this year’s Linggo ng Kabataan Provincial Opening.

The results of the 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 are now officially released. This post presents the functionality classifications of all Sangguniang Kabataan Barangays in the Municipality of Maragusan, identifying those assessed as 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥, 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥, 𝐋𝐨𝐰 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥, and 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥, based on the prescribed assessment criteria.

The assessment was conducted on July 1–3, 2026, at the 3rd Floor Conference Room, Municipal Building, Maragusan, Davao de Oro. The results reflect each SK council's commitment to fulfilling its mandates and delivering meaningful programs and services for the youth.

Sincere appreciation also to 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐂𝐞𝐬𝐚𝐫 𝐂. 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐫. for the unwavering support and continued commitment to empowering the Sangguniang Kabataan and advancing youth development initiatives in the Municipality of Maragusan.
