The LGU Cortes, led by Municipal Mayor Hon. Frederick P. Yu, conducted a benchmarking activity at the Municipalities of Del Carmen and Pilar, Surigao del Norte, to learn and gather insights on their best practices in mangrove management, solid waste management, and game fishing activities.

The activity aims to strengthen the municipality’s environmental and tourism initiatives, particularly exploring the possible inclusion of game fishing activities in the upcoming Kadagatan Festival.
