The Cotabato Foundation College of Science and Technology (CFCST), through the Department of Science and TechnologyโPhilippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD) under the RAISE Program Project 1D: Establishment of Intellectual Property and Technology Business Management, successfully spearheaded a face-to-face Re-Echo Seminar on Agribusiness, Technology Commercialization, and Promotion. The two-day activity was held at Elai Hotel, Resort, and Recreation Center in Kidapawan City on November 17โ18, 2025.
The seminar aimed to strengthen the capacity of faculty-researchers, research assistants, and students in advancing technology transfer initiatives and promoting research-based innovations. Dr. Josephine Migalbin, RAISE Program Leader, served as the resource speaker and delivered an in-depth discussion on technology promotion, highlighting strategies for effective knowledge dissemination and pathways to commercialization.
A total of 30 participants, composed of faculty researchers, research assistants, and BS Food Technology students, actively engaged in the sessions. The participants presented their outputs, which were critically reviewed by Professor Ronald Pascual and Dr. Migalbin, providing them with valuable feedback to enhance their research and technology development skills.
The activity forms part of CFCSTโs continuing commitment to foster a culture of innovation, strengthen its Intellectual Property and Technology Business Management (IPTBM) initiatives, and support the broader goal of translating research outputs into impactful technologies for the community.
