VERUELA LGU JOINS LRBIS TRAINING TO BOOST INFRASTRUCTURE DATA MANAGEMENT
BUTUAN CITY, April 28–30, 2026 — In a decisive move toward strengthening infrastructure governance and data-driven planning, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Veruela actively participated in the Training on Local Roads and Bridges Inventory System (LRBIS) – Batch 1 held at the Grand Palace Hotel, Butuan City.
The three-day capacity-building activity gathered engineering and planning personnel from various LGUs to enhance competencies in road and bridge data collection, inventory standardization, mapping systems, and digital reporting mechanisms—critical components in ensuring accurate infrastructure profiling and effective development planning.
Representing LGU Veruela were key technical personnel:
• Engr. Germe A. Aunzo, Engineer III, Municipal Engineering Office (MEO)
• Clifford M. Cura, Draftsman IV, MEO
• Engr. Joseph Paul M. Tipudan, Planning Officer II, Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO)
• Engr. Jan Rey S. Dadong, Engineer III, MPDO
The training is expected to significantly enhance the municipality’s capability to maintain a comprehensive and updated inventory of local roads and bridges, a crucial tool in infrastructure investment programming, disaster risk reduction, and long-term development strategies.
