It is certainly no easy feat to create and host a complex three phase expedition which is typical of where we focus on inclusivity to allow everyone from all walks of life the opportunity to join us on incredible adventures and in the process do something amazing by helping us to raise funds to cover the operational costs of training combat veterans in Scuba Diving skills to help them overcome the trauma of military service,
The current project https://tridentwarriors.org/events/egypt-north-wreck/ with only 4 spots left is a Dahab Blue Hole phase followed by an 8 night liveaboard diving all of the most incredible rusty shipwrecks of the Northern Red Sea and finally to those land lubber tourist type a third and final phase to Cairo to absorb the sights of the Pyramids of Saqqara, Memphis, Sakkara, and Giza with a camel ride and lunch whilst staying in the beautiful city Island of Zamalek Island.
As the organizer that is drowning in the administration of pulling all of this together including renting a massive 36 diver yacht, over 260 hotel room stays, a ton of transport logistics, training plans and myriad of other bits and pieces, I would like to personally extend my thanks to for throwing a proper wrench into the entire plan and showing zero customer relations skills by working to resolve it until I navigated my way through an insane maze with the help of ChatGPT and failing in helpdesk phone calls, Turkish Whatsapp support, corporate emails and eventually creating a twitter X account to wake them up. Finally I have a solid plan, a real phone number and today I start the painful task of fixing 16 broken segments because Turkish decided to just shut down all flights over the summer to a massive airport (Hurghada) leaving us with no other choice than to do a brutal 5 hour drive to Cairo. Good on ya Turkish. This one is for you!
