Just Helping Out Philippines We are a fundraising group assisting the many people left displaced by natural disasters in The Philippines.

We are a fundraising group assisting the many people left displaced and homeless by natural disasters in The Philippines. Our organisation is entirely dependant on funds raised by the generosity of others, and 100% of all funds raised go directly to the people in need. We have no connection to any aid agency or charity,(where the people in need receive as little as one percent of donated amounts)

, no Church, or Government body so there is no delay in fund distribution and no "administration costs" rip-offs, as we have seen over here much too often. Anyone wishing to assist with our project should email us for details.

So nice to get back to Daanbantayan, Cebu for a milestone celebration.
On March 9, 2014, I met the Duat family devastated by Typhoon Yolanda, and in the ten years since then, they have endured and overcome many challenges.
Being able to assist them, and watching them thrive and grow through their own hard work touches my heart.
They have become very dear friends, and I consider them my Cebu "family". ❤

While in Daanbantayan, I was able to connect with these caring teachers who were putting together a Christmas Outreach Program for children from a low income housing project.
So happy to be able to offer some financial assistance to compliment the efforts, kindness, and community spirit of these amazing girls.
Thank you Kristine, Christy, and Cloffel. ❤️

It was great to be back in Cebu to attend the Inghoy National High School Christmas party. Such a good community atmosphere with parents and family members joining the fun.
Also very happy to meet with five of the students who received financial assistance awards this year to help with the cost of their education.
And of course, the yearly Christmas chocolates for everyone!
Thanks to Principal Ruby Ann Mary Malayo, and the staff and students for inviting me to be part of this wonderful day.

So happy to be able to assist these students to achieve their education goals, and reward them for their determination to succeed despite difficult financial, and sometimes personal hardships. A big thank you to Principal Ruby Ann Mary Malayo, and all the teachers at Inghoy National High School for their assistance in selection of the students to receive the Just Helping Out Philippines awards, and their endless dedication to the success of every student.

We had a great day distributing relief packages of rice and canned goods to 40 families in Alegria, Cebu, who were some of the many victims of Typhoon Odette.
The smiles on their faces, and their resilience really tugs at the heart strings.
Huge thanks to Paul Durangparang for his help putting it all together, and the Durangparang family for their help and hospitality.

Merry Christmas to all our followers and contributors who have assisted us since I began working with underprivileged children and families in the Philippines since Typhoon Yolanda in 2013.
I woke up this morning expecting to wish the beautiful people of Daanbantayan, Cebu a Merry Xmas, only to find that another huge typhoon has ripped through the town.
So many families are now left homeless.
If any of our generous Aussies have blankets or clothing to donate, or would be prepared to make a financial contribution, no matter how big or small, please send me a message.
This would be your most important Xmas gift this year!

So nice to spend time at Inghoy NHS, seeing the smiling faces of students I have seen grow from kids into confident, motivated young people. Helped and nurtured by an amazing group of teachers.
Thanks for your time, the beautiful lunch, and the dance performances by each year level, and most of all, thank you for the smiles.
And thank you to the kind Aussies who make our work here possible.
