GOOD NEWS!!!
Dagupan City – The National Labor Relations Commission, Sub-Regional Arbitration Branch No. I, Dagupan City, Pangasinan through its Single-Entry Approach (SEnA) program, successfully facilitated settlement amounting to PhP15,000.00 for a security guard of an educational institution.

The SEnA proceedings was handled by Conciliator-Mediator Atty. Niña C. Siblag-Fontawa, Labor Arbitration Associate, which addressed underpayment of salary, 13th month pay, service incentive leave pay, night shift differential and, holiday pay which was amicably resolved through the SEnA conciliation-mediation process.

This accomplishment aligns with the mandate of National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) to administer labor laws fairly and expeditiously, reaffirming its continuing commitment to earning public trust through efficient, transparent, and responsive service delivery.

The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC), as an active member of the Regional Coordinating Council, joins the recent “KAPIHAN sa DOLE” conducted by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), bringing together all attached government agencies of DOLE and media practitioners to discuss key programs, frontline services for the workers and employers in line with Labor Day celebration.

During the KAPIHAN, the NLRC highlighted its commitment to promoting industrial peace and ensuring the fair and speedy disposition of labor and management disputes. The Commission emphasized its contributions to Labor Day by promoting workers’ rights, assisting displaced workers, addressing labor disputes concerns, and referring them to the appropriate agencies such as the Department of Labor and Employment, National Conciliation and Mediation Board, Department of Migrant Workers, or the NLRC for proper action.

The participation of the NLRC in the KAPIHAN sa DOLE reflects the agency’s continuing partnership with DOLE and other RCC member agencies in advancing workers’ welfare, protecting labor rights, and fostering harmonious employer-employee relations.

Dagupan City – A labor disputes involving an account officer of a lending company was amicably settled during a mandatory conciliation-mediation conference at the National Labor Relations Commission, Sub-Regional Arbitration Branch No. I in Dagupan City, Pangasinan has successfully facilitated settlement amounting to PhP7,936.78.
The mandatory conference was presided by Hon. Labor Arbiter Karol Sarah P. Baguilat, the settlement addressed the non-payment of salaries and 13th month pay.

The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) continues to promote conciliation as a key mechanism in achieving speedy justice, while ensuring that the rights and welfare of workers are upheld.

Dagupan City – The National Labor Relations Commission, Sub-Regional Arbitration Branch No. I in Dagupan City, Pangasinan has successfully facilitated settlement amounting to PhP17,500.00 in favor of a chief cook in a restaurant during the mandatory conciliation-mediation conference.
Through the intervention of Labor Arbiter Karol Sarah P. Baguilat, the settlement addressed money claims concerns, including salaries, 13th month pay and separation pay. The settlement was voluntarily accepted by both parties, effectively settling the dispute.

The successful resolution underscores the role of Labor Arbiters in fostering fair and balanced discussions between workers and employers. It serves as a reminder that disputes in the workplace can be addressed efficiently through proper legal channels and cooperation from both parties.
