43rd NRC Anniversary │ The Naval Reserve Center Northern Luzon successfully executed a two-day Bloodletting Activity in partnership with Dugong Alay, Dugtong Buhay Inc. as one of the NRC Pre-Anniversary Activities.

The first day of the activity was held on October 25, 2025 at Naval Detachment Bonuan, Dagupan City thru the Region 1 Medical Center, while the second day took place on October 26, 2025 at University of Cagayan Valley Campus, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan thru the Cagayan Valley Medical Center. The cause was participated in by the organic personnel, reservists, civilian volunteers, partner stakeholders and ROTC Cadets with a total of 139,050cc of various blood types collected from the 309 successful donors.

Each contribution carries an immeasurable value, awakening our shared humanity and offering hope and healing to those in need. This activity embodies the spirit of selflessness and compassion, reinforcing our unity in the noble cause of saving lives through a drop blood.

Change of Command Ceremony

The Change of Command Ceremony of Commander, Naval Reserve Center-Northern Luzon was presided over by MGEN DOROTEO JOSE M JALANDONI PN(M), Commander, Naval Reserve Command, on September 27, 2025 at Naval Detachment Bonuan, Dagupan City.

In a solemn and time-honored military tradition, COL ELOISE SOTERO C FABIAN JR PN(M)(GSC) formally relinquished his post as the Commander to LCDR DAN MICHAEL B RUZ PN, who assumed duties as Officer-In-Charge.

This ceremony not only signified the smooth transition of leadership but also highlighted the accomplishments achieved under COL FABIAN’s helm, leaving behind a legacy of discipline, preparedness, and unwavering commitment to service.

In his remarks, MGEN JALANDONI commended COL FABIAN for his invaluable contributions in training and developing reservists, thereby producing a capable, professional, and formidable reserve force.

LOOK │ The Naval Reserve Center Northern Luzon (NRCen-NL) proudly congratulates LTJG Ferdinand S Nicolas PN(Res) for being awarded as Reservist Officer of the Year and PO3 Lani C Castro PN(Res) as Enlisted Reservist of the Year on September 08, 2025 at Headquarters Northern Luzon Naval Command (NLNC), San Fernando City La Union.

In addition, NRCen-NL was also conferred with a Plaque of Recognition received by the Commander, Col Eloise Sotero C Fabian Jr PN(M)(GSC), in acknowledgment of its significant contributions in the attainment of the NLNC mission.

These remarkable achievements underscore the highest standards of excellence, unwavering dedication, and professionalism expected of every reservist in the noble fulfillment of our mandate to serve the people and the nation.
