𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗗 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 | LGU Damulog in leadership of the honorable mayor Mel Buro proudly announces the results of the 2025 Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) Functionality Assessment! 🎉💙

Out of the 98 Local Government Units (LGUs) assessed by the different Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Forces (IMTFs) across Region 10, 69 LGUs or 70% achieved the highest functionality rating — reflecting a remarkable 28% increase from the previous fiscal year.

We are proud to share that 𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗴 is recognized as one of the LGUs with 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 in the province. 🏆

The assessment covered four key areas:
✔️ Organizational Sustainability
✔️ Policies and Plans for Children
✔️ Budget Allocation for LCPC
✔️ Service Delivery, Monitoring, and Management for Children
This achievement reflects the unwavering commitment of the Local Government Unit of Damulog, partner agencies, stakeholders, and the community in strengthening child protection mechanisms and promoting child rights-based governance.
Together, we continue building a safer, more nurturing, and child-friendly Damulog for every child’s brighter future. 💙👧👦

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), in collaboration with the Department of Education (DepEd) Damulog thru Ms. Stella Virtudes & Ms. Liezel Malhin, successfully conducted the Capacity Building for Child Development Workers on Phonemic Awareness.

This meaningful activity aimed to strengthen the knowledge and skills of our Child Development Workers in promoting early literacy and language development among young learners. Through this initiative, participants were equipped with effective strategies and learning approaches that will greatly contribute to quality early childhood care and development.

The MSWDO extends its heartfelt gratitude to Department of Education for initiating and supporting this valuable undertaking, as well as to all participants for their active participation and commitment in shaping a brighter future for our children. 💙📚
