Personnel of Daram Fire Station, under the leadership of SFO3 Rafael D Suello, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, joined the Flag Raising Ceremony in celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day together with various national government agencies, local government offices, and other stakeholders in the Municipality of Daram. The activity served as a meaningful reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of the Filipino heroes whose unwavering dedication paved the way for the nation's freedom and sovereignty.

To strengthen emergency preparedness among the youth, personnel of Daram Fire Station, under the leadership of SFO3 Rafael D Suello, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted an Emergency Preparedness and Response Training in partnership with the Municipal Health Office (MHO) and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Daram for the School Watch & Emergency Response Team (SWERT) members of Daram National High School. Participants actively engaged in discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises on fire safety, basic life support (BLS), basic first aid, emergency response, and proper earthquake drill procedures, equipping them with valuable life-saving skills and the confidence to act decisively during emergencies.

Through this collaborative initiative, student responders were empowered to become safety advocates within their school, fostering a culture of preparedness, resilience, and shared responsibility in building a safer and more disaster-ready community.

The activity aimed to identify potential fire hazards, gather vital community risk information, and enhance public awareness on fire prevention and safety through direct engagement with residents.
