Katarungang Pambarangay of Barangay Sasa, under the leadership of Lupon Chairperson Jerry L. Licarte, successfully conducted its monthly meeting together with the Lupon Secretary Ma. Crestie C. Cutler, Kagawad Eduardo C. Pablo, Jr , Lupon Members, and KP Clerk Ms. Monnette A. Calipayan.

The meeting focused on:

• Review and summary of cases for the month of July 2026
• Reports from the different teams
• Sharing of learnings from the Gender Responsive Katarungang Pambarangay Skills Enhancement Training held on July 31, 2026
• Discussion of new and effective settlement techniques to further strengthen the amicable resolution of disputes.

Through continuous collaboration, learning, and commitment to public service, the Katarungang Pambarangay remains dedicated to promoting peace, justice, and harmony within our community.

The Lupong Tagapamayapa of Barangay Sasa conducted its Monthly
Meeting to discuss matters pertinent to the effective implementation of the Katarungang Pambarangay Program

The Agenda included:

1. Summary and status report cases handled during May 2026
2. Accomplishment reports and updates from the different teams
3. Discussion and scheduling of the upcoming Courtside Barangay Forum
4. Other matters concerning the promotion of peace, order, and conflict resolution within the Barangay.

The meeting highlighted the importance of cooperation, accountability, and continuous improvement in delivering efficient dispute resolution services to the community.

We are proud to announce that the Lupong Tagapamayapa of Barangay Sasa, under the leadership of Hon. Jerry J. Licarte, Lupon Chairman, has been recognized as one of the Top Performing Lupong Tagapamayapa in Davao City.

The body secured the 2nd Place ranking with an impressive score of 96.5% during the onsite validation conducted by Ma'am Evelyn T. Deocampo, LGOO VII, DILG Davao City Operations Office.

The validation activity was successfully carried out in coordination with the Lupon member Mrs. Carmen L. Abraham, Mrs. Lourdes A. Respicio, Mrs. Narceinee N. Biliran, Mr. Jaime C. Yap, Jr., Mr. Jaime D. Malazarte, Mr. Wenefredo L.Lozarita, Lupon Secretary Maria Crestie C. Cutler, Kgd. Mary John Abdul Mercado, and KP Clerk Monnette A. Calipayan.

This achievement reflects the team's commitment and dedication to maintaining peace and order, and efficiently resolving disputes within the community.
