Provincial Investment Promotion Program

To speed up the economic development of Davao del Sur, in accordance with its updated development plan, and become an active partner in attaining the national goal, it is declared to be the policy of the Provincial Government of Davao del Sur, to create a favorable business climate to attract the inflow of new investments in the province in areas of agri-business, tourism, infrastructure facilities and utilities, properly development, transportation facilities, forestry and mineral resources, conventional and renewable energy sources, manufacturing and services.

The Province of Davao del Sur welcomes and encourages private domestic and foreign investments in industry, agriculture, livestock, fisheries and aquatic resources, forestry, services to include creative and knowledge-based services and such other economic sectors which will provide significant employment opportunities, increase productivity of natural and human resources, introduce new technology and skills, qualify for global competitiveness, increase in the volume and value of exports and maintain ecological integrity and soundness.
