On this first Sunday of October, we turn our hearts toward God.

For every family gathered in church, praying at home, or quietly speaking to Him in private, may today bring renewed faith, peace, and strength for the days ahead.

We especially remember Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte as he continues to remain in detention in The Hague. His case has already moved to the trial phase, with the ICC setting November 30, 2026 for the opening of trial.

May this Sunday bring him comfort. May God keep him strong and surround him with His presence, while also watching over every Filipino who is sick, struggling, grieving, or losing hope.

We place October and all that lies ahead into God’s hands.

Some burdens are seen. Others are carried quietly.

Today, we pray for every Filipino facing hardship, uncertainty, and struggles that others may never fully know. May God give courage to those who are afraid, patience to those waiting for answers, and strength to families simply trying to get through each day.

We also remember Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, who remains detained at the ICC detention centre in The Hague as proceedings in his case continue.

May distance never erase the prayers being offered for him. May God sustain his body, calm his mind, and give him courage for whatever lies ahead.

Even in difficult times, may faith remain stronger than fear.

Tonight, our prayer is for every Filipino carrying the weight of hunger, rising costs, illness, and uncertainty.

May God hear the cries of families struggling to make ends meet and raise public servants who listen, respond, and remember whom they were called to serve. May compassion be greater than self-interest, service greater than appearances, and truth greater than deception.

We also continue to lift Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte in prayer as he remains in ICC detention. The ICC says his trial is scheduled to open on November 30, 2026.

May God strengthen him through every difficult day, surround him with peace, and remind him that he remains remembered in the prayers of many back home.

For our people, our leaders, and our nation, we pray.

As the country continues through Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment proceedings, our prayer today is for truth, due process, fairness, and respect for the Constitution. The Senate impeachment trial remains ongoing, with hearings scheduled through September and into the following months.

May every person entrusted with responsibility in these proceedings act according to law and conscience, and may the Filipino people be guided by truth rather than anger or division.

We also continue to remember Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte in prayer. May God grant him strength, health, peace, and comfort through the challenges he continues to face.

For our leaders, our institutions, our families, and our country, we pray for wisdom and justice.

Today, we lift the entire Duterte family in prayer.

May God protect them wherever they may be, strengthen their bond through every challenge, and give each member of the family patience, wisdom, peace, and courage.

Above all, we continue to pray for the family’s patriarch, Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. May he remain strong in body and spirit, and may hope remain alive in the hearts of those longing for the day their family can once again be together.

Through distance and difficulty, may faith keep them united.

Today, our prayer extends to the children and young people of our country.

May every school remain a place for learning, friendship, dreams, and hope — never fear. We pray for the protection of every student, teacher, and family, and for wisdom and urgency from those entrusted with keeping them safe.

May those who have experienced violence find healing, and may families who have suffered loss find strength and comfort.

And as we continue praying for our nation, we also remember Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and entrust him once more to God’s care.

Protect our children. Guide our country. Amen.

Another day, another prayer offered from thousands of miles away.

Today, we pray that Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte may feel the love of every Filipino who continues to remember him in prayer. In the quietest and heaviest moments, may God give him peace, strength, and the assurance that he is not forgotten.

May every prayer become a source of comfort, and may the day come when distance no longer separates him from the people and family waiting for him.

We continue to entrust him to God. Amen.
