𝗠𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼!🇵🇭✨

As we honor our heroes today, may we remember their bravery and courageous deeds, even the simple actions for change that often go unnoticed not just from our national heroes, but also from our fellow Filipinos.

Let us continue to have a good heart that seeks nothing but prosperity for our country.

Benevolence over Brutality🕊️🇵🇭

August 21 marks thr commemoration of the death of Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., whose love for the Filipino people, courage in the midst of adversity, and commitment to peaceful change continue to influence our nation.

As BAHAGHARI, may this day remind us to stand for the truth, act with courage, and work toward a nation where justice is fought not through violence, but through unity, compassion, and peaceful actions.

Happy Ninoy Aquino Day! 🇵🇭

Ateneo de Davao University stands in grief and solidarity with Ateneo de Zamboanga University following the violence that struck their community.

We mourn those whose lives were lost. We pray for those who were injured, for the families of all those affected, and for the entire AdZU community.

We strongly condemn gun violence. There is no place for guns and armed violence in our schools and communities. A firearm must never become an answer to anger, conflict, grievance, or despair. We must reject any normalization of guns and violence in the lives of our young people.

Our schools must be places where human life is protected and where students can learn without fear. This tragedy reminds us that protecting these spaces requires not only prayer and solidarity but also vigilance, responsibility, and concrete action.

No to gun violence. No to weapons in our schools. No to the normalization of violence.

To our brothers and sisters at Ateneo de Zamboanga University: you are not alone. The Ateneo de Davao community stands with you in grief, prayer, and solidarity.

Fr. Karel S. San Juan, SJ
President
Ateneo de Davao University

A gentle reminder before you share.

In moments like these, what we post matters as much as what we feel. Before sharing news about a sensitive event:

✅ Verify with official sources first
✅ Avoid graphic photos or videos
✅ Protect the identities of minors and victims
✅ Don't spread speculation or unverified claims
✅ Choose compassion over being first

A single careless share can affect families, mislead the public, or put someone's safety at risk. Let's be part of the solution, not the noise.

If you or someone you know needs support:
NCMH Crisis Hotline is available: 1553 (landline)
0917-899-8727 (Globe/TM)
0966-351-4518 (Smart)

Mag-ingat sa pagbahagi. Isipin muna bago mag-post.
