Barangay La Union celebrates the 101st Founding Anniversary and 31st Araw ng Barangay La Union with a theme “Transparensiya ug Panaghiusa, Giya sa Padayon nga Kalambuan sa atong Barangay.”This will be celebrated on February 20-22, 2023 and be participated by all sectors of La Union and its neighboring.

The Araw ng Barangay Celebration will symbolize both the unity of all barangay officials with their constituents and the great ideals and aspirations for a clean and good Barangay Government.

Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. La Union celebrates the annual Linggo ng Kabataan with a theme “Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a World for All Ages.”

This month of August, youth celebrates Linggo NG Kabataan. Stipulated in Section 30 of REPUBLIC ACT 10742 OR THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN REFORMED ACT OF 2015 that (a) every Barangay, municipality, city and province shall conduct an annual activity to be known as the Linggo ng Kabataan on the week where the 12th of August falls to coincide with the International Youth Day. This activity uphold the advocacy of turning youth into a better citizen of our country.

In line with this event, here are the following activities of the Linggo ng Kabataan 2022 to be held this August 28-29, 2022:

-Participants should bring their own music.
-Props and accessories are allowed but not flammable or flaming materials.

Adunay kita giandam nga mga aktibadades ug mga kalihukan alang sa atoang mga kabataan. Kabataan di nata maglangan, apil nata!

Atoang giawhag ang mga kabataan nga tagaan ug higayon ang mga simple pero mahinungdanon mga mga kalihukan sa 2022 LNK nga siguradong di gayud nato malimtan. Manghinaut kami nga manag uban kita ug magkasinabot alang sa kahapsay sa atoang selebrasyon.
