Last July 8, 2026, we successfully conducted the Campus Peace Symposium at Don Enrique Lopez National High School, giving our students the opportunity to learn and gain a deeper understanding of important national issues, including Awareness on CPP-NPA-NDF Youth Recruitment and the West Philippine Sea.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our distinguished speaker, Corporal Rodrigo Malacad, for sharing his valuable knowledge and inspiring our students to become more informed, responsible, and critical-thinking citizens.

This activity was made possible through the collaboration of the Philippine Army โ€“ Alpha, 66th Infantry Battalion, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Don Enrique Lopez, and Don Enrique Lopez National High School, with the support of DELNHS Principal Ma'am Faith U. Syting. We also express our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who worked behind the scenes and to all the participants who contributed to the success of this event.

Together, let us continue empowering our youth through knowledge, awareness, and peace, because an informed generation is a stronger generation.

BARANGAY DON ENRIQUE LOPEZ, DAVAO ORIENTAL โ€“ Edgar S. Pania and Randel L. Granada, two sons of Barangay Don Enrique Lopez, graduated with the distinction of Cum Laude from Davao Oriental State University, bringing honor to their community.

Pania earned his Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education major in Home Economics, while Granada completed his Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management degree.

Their story is one of friendship and shared aspirations. The two were classmates throughout their elementary and high school years at Don Enrique Lopez Elementary School and Don Enrique Lopez National High School. Although they took separate paths in college by pursuing different degree programs, they reunited at graduation with the same remarkable honor.

โ€œAfter all the hard work and years of pursuing our dreams, here we are, meeting again with so much pride and joy as Cum Laudes,โ€ Pania shared in a social media post.

Beyond academics, both graduates were known for their leadership and passion for their respective fields of specialization. Their achievements reflect years of dedication and commitment to education.

The success of Pania and Granada once again highlights that Barangay Don Enrique Lopez is not only blessed with abundant natural resources but is also home to academically gifted and promising young individuals.

As the community celebrates their achievements, the success of the two graduates stands as a powerful reminder that with dedication and perseverance, the youth of Barangay DEL can reach greater heights and inspire future generations to pursue excellence.
