The Davao Oriental State University – San Isidro Campus Library proudly joins the Municipality of San Isidro in the official launch of the Municipal Local Governance Resource Center – Kaalam Hub, held at the Mayor Apolinar Ruelo Convention Center (MARCC).

The Kaalam Hub is envisioned as a space that promotes access to information, learning resources, knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and continuous learning—values that strongly resonate with the mission of libraries in empowering individuals and communities through information.

Through the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) among the Municipality of San Isidro, DILG, DepEd, and Davao Oriental State University, this initiative strengthens collaboration among the local government, academe, national agencies, and the youth in promoting learning opportunities, active participation, and good governance.

As a library, we are honored to support initiatives that foster an informed, engaged, and empowered community. May the Kaalam Hub become a meaningful avenue where knowledge is accessed, shared, and transformed into opportunities for community development.

The Davao Oriental State University – San Isidro Campus participated in the 18th DACUN Phil-BIST Conference and Fair, held on August 10–12, 2026 at the RSM Events Center, Philippine Women’s College of Davao.

Anchored on the theme, “Regenerating Libraries in a Connected World: Leadership, Innovation, Wellness, and Ethics for the Future,” the event provided an avenue for professional learning, knowledge exchange, and engagement with current developments in the library and information services sector.

The activity also featured a Book Fair, offering a wide selection of books, academic references, and other learning resources. The event provided an opportunity to explore relevant materials that may contribute to the continuous enhancement of educational and library resources of the campus.

The participation of DOrSU–San Isidro Campus in this event underscores its commitment to continuous learning, resource development, academic excellence, and the provision of quality services to its stakeholders.

• Flexiplace (Work-from-Home) arrangement for all employees from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Suspension of classes and work in the afternoon starting 12:00 PM onwards

April 2 to April 5, 2026 (Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday)
• No classes and no work operations

1st 11RCDG ROTC Fancy Drill Competition SY 2026
| MARCH 29, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The ROTC Unit of DOrSU-SIC proudly emerged as 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗢𝗡 in the 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆 during the 1st 11RCDG ROTC Fancy Drill Competition for the School Year 2026.

The competition featured two categories: Activated and Affiliated. Competing under the Affiliated Category, DOrSU-SIC bested 13 State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), securing the top spot with an impressive average score of 97.80%.

The 47 cadets, donned in their ROTC uniforms, were led by:
